I want the iconic zombie weapons like a CHAINSAW! It would use fuel and be very loud so you can't sneak up of zeds or players and the sound would scare the shit out of me and others!

But yeah the more the merrier, probably more improvised weapons like planks of wood etc like Dead Island did.

Melee should be the primary form of self defence so yes, I hope a lot of time is spent on it too. If I hit a zombie with a shovel, I want it to look like I've hit something solid, I want it to take a couple of hits before its head is off and most importantly I want there to be blood everywhere so other people can tell something died here. I doubt I'll be able to wear its head as a hat but hey ho.

I hope they spend a lot of time on melee weapons... of course these weapons would become useless if there are too many guns (or perhaps too much ammunition) in the standalone.

My two biggest fears concerning these weapons:

-throwing knives and axes... stooooopid, don't include them!

-knifing insta-kills... stooooopid, please no!
