When is it Okay to KoS?

Recommended Posts

I KoS everyone and everything I see. I see an animal move. I shoot it. I see a player move I shoot it.

If I play 3rd person. and I move. I shoot it

When I first started playing, I KoS'd the few times I saw people because I was on a server full of jerks who also KoS'd on sight. Now I play on a good server and I only KoS when it's a bandit. Otherwise I let people go their own way.

Also, having been in the brush for days now, it's not like I see people anyway....

Most of the time, I just kill everyone.

It took a little while for me to realise that most people don't deserve any respect or mercy in this game.

It's all a matter of convenience for me. If I am in need of supplies and you walk by with a fat bag and a big gun, it's a lot more convenient and less risky to shoot some guy than it is to go running around in Cherno looking to get killed.

PvP brung me to dayz and PvP is wut keeps me coming back.

I don't have to think anything thru, I don't way up the pro and con, I don't need to find out if player is a friendly cos I don't give fuck.

Once I see a player then one of us will be dead very soon. Sometimes is me but normally is the other guy.

One time I saw 2 players in the shop and I had only a axe. I scream very loud in direct like animal and they run towards firestation. I kill the girl with my axe in the road and take her gun but I never stop to watch where the other guy going. I follow him and kill him in the stairs of firestation and he was very mad.

It is instinct for me, like when a cat see a mouse. I have no choice, my heart is going bang bang bang bang like a heavy metal drums. I get very excited for maybe 1 second then everything is calm and I am relax when I kill them all.

If I am in a large city like Chernogorsk or Elektrozavodsk, I will kill anyone I see with a weapon efficient for PvP, a.k.a any primary that isn't a crossbow or hatchet. On heli crashsites I will most likely kill someone, unless I have already looted it and he poses no threat to me.

Up north, the only reasons I would kill on sight is if they have spotted me and are aiming, if they have ghillie suits, if they have bandit skins, if they have a sniper rifle and are alone/in a pair.

I kill on sight on some locations up north, these include Stary Sobor, Northwest Airfield and Vybor. This is mainly to get valuable loot that I cannot get since they have taken everything that is valuable from the area, and also to make sure I won't die when looting by being shot by some asshole I decided not to kill.

I shoot anyone who may become a threat. A player I know has a camp, a bandit who just killed someone, or someone who is running towards my location. I kill people for their gear, I often snipe at elektro but I never have a map or coyote backpack or tent, sometimes I will stalk a player, hero, bandit or survivor and kill them for their gear. I prefer to shoot anybody and everyone, but if someone says their friendly I won't kill them.
