Play DayZ with a noob :D

This has to be the strangest and most confusing reply I have read in a long while.

    Standalone: Foreign Weaponry

Ok, the helicopter crews are there to clean things up and gather more information about survivors. All countries that do have helis crashing have a base outside of South Zagoria, perhaps in Takistan or in western Chernarus. So, basically the helis always come from the west, from either Takistan, Novigrad or other parts of Chernarus, into South Zagoria, where the infection has spread itself very rapidly and the place is overrun.

    Standalone: Foreign Weaponry

Lol when did I mention Iraq? , but China does want to investigate since the US and such seem so interested. China would also want to know what the infection is about. If you misread Israel is Iraq, Israel would probably also want to know more about the infection. I would also love to see their Tavor Assault Rifles in the game.
  4. It does not make any sense how you can find weapons such as M16s and M4s in Chernarussian military areas, or firestations. If you connect it with the ArmA 2 story though, it would make more sense to find them on small bases. It doesn't make sense to find G36 variants either, and this is why I want to suggest this: My suggestion is: add more foreign weaponry, and an explanation for them and those that already exist. Heli crash sites are a good explanation to them. They would be rare, and repairing them/maintaining the foreign weapons would be nearly impossible, since you would have to find a heli crash site for just that one specific country your foreign weapon is from, and hope to find parts from it. Crash sites would be from different countries. You could have a Austrian one with AUG compact bullpup rifles and their uniforms, or a German one with G36 variants and bundeswehr uniforms, China with QB rifles and unforms, and more. Countries I think should go crash their helis in a post-soviet state: China, Austria, Germany, UK, Sweden/Finland, Israel and of course the US. Oh and also the Czech Republic! :D There should be a couple of those weapons and their variants, compatible with each other. To balance this, there would be many different countries, so that it will be hard to find just that one gun or part you need, because if you find a heli crash site, it might be chinese, german, british etc. instead of Austrian if you have a nearly-broken AUG and no remaining parts. This suggestion helps with adding variety to DayZ, and a goal to many players. Players could have as a goal to get their favorite weapon, and have to find heli crash sites that have just that one weapon they want. Basically sort of an end-game goal, and it continues since you need to maintain the weapon if you wish to keep it. And if anyone thinks this is a re-suggestion, I don't think I have found one that explains that it should be hard to maintain or find the parts for a gun, that helis should be country-specific and that it can be an end-game goal and add an explanation for there to be foreign weapons. What do you think?

    How to properly reintroduce .50s

Just my opinions. KSVK and Lapua should replace the old .50s. KSVK has no zeroing, a non-adjustable scope and you cannot carry a backpack, but it has the anti-materiel power of the old .50's. Lapua instantly kills, is bolt-action, and doesn't have that ridiculous amount of zeroing as well as a 5 round magazine. These two would be the balanced options, weapons that are already in the game but not used.

I have done a bad thing.

Well, since he was unarmed and was fleeing, then I have to say yer a ferkin' a-hole.

    You NEED bandits like me

Lol when did he say he wanted PvE. Neither did he ever say he wanted to roleplay or shit. That there was not necessary. He was against KoS. That does not mean you are a carebear. Carebears are stupid dumbasses who play on no PVP servers. Anyways, I have found KoS really, really annoying. I have no problem with banditry itself, but killing people with say, sniper rifles, for nearly no reason than just to get a bigger kill count is... just the kind of shit you would do in Call of Duty or Battlefield, or in Wasteland. Not in DayZ. Banditry is what keeps the game interesting, not getting sniped or sniping. I want to make a nice friend to later see him leave me in a deep shit situation and take our stuff and leave with it, or someone who tortures me or uses me as their slave or hostage. I'd prefer not to get killed by some guy 300 metres away spamming a magazine of DMR shots, It would be better if someone would hold me up, and decide if they want to execute me or not. I would not try to run away, I would accept my damn death, because these guys were nice enough not to shoot me on sight.
  9. Olsha. That isn't being a grammar nazi. That is typing so that people can f-ing understand you Instead Of Typing Like This Which Makes It Much Harder And Slower To Read than if you type normally like this.

This is how bandits should be.

But that's not killing them on sight...
  11. Bastard killed me once in Elektro. I spawned in Krutoy Cap and ran through Tulga and buildings between (Not including Rog) and found a DB shotgun with only 2 pellets. I got infected, pain and half blood, but I didn't give up. I kept running, and was just about to give up when searching for him, when I spot movement. He was laying down in a non-obvious location. I panic and shoot him, without properly aiming, fearing he would spot me. If one more pellet had missed, he would have lived, since it said he died from blood loss. Another interesting part of this encounter: after looting him and returning down to Elektro to loot more, I run into him again. He had a bandit skin and DMR, but didn't shoot me. He just wanted to know what my name was and spoke to me casually. He kept stalking me to east elektro, until I went around a wall and was gonna spam him with my DMR (I had a M4a3 CCO on me when I was running). I noticed it was gone. Bastard had somehow sneakily taken it back. I waited for him to come, and spammed STANAG into him. Got my stuff back and killed him twice.

    Our mentality

I've always been backstabbed by survivors and unarmed bandits that I team up with seem to never betray me. I guess its because I didn't kill the bandits on sight, so they feel thankful, whereas the survivors may just see me as a guy who can carry stuff for him. I think this should be changed, but usually most people I meet are actually friendly (I've met 9 friendlies in a row today, holy kräp).

    M4HOLOGL

Infantry and vehicles. If you hit a vehicle, you will bust it's wheels, and it inflicts ridiculously good damage on players. Can be a lifesaver sometimes.

    New 3-player team tips

    1. Meet up on the coast, if one of you spawns at the east coast then you will have to meet up with him in the middle or north. 2. Advantages is more manpower and firepower, allowing you to acquire loot faster, have an advantage in firefights and more carrying capacity. Disadvantages is that you won't be as stealthy, but people will think twice before attacking you, so you'll be safe unless you bump into a individual survivor or a bandit group spots you. 3. Always have different sort of guns. They can use the same ammunition, but you will always need some guy who has a long-range weapon, usually some guy with a close range weapon, and if you can find one, a guy with a machinegun. Don't argue over loot. Give it to the one who needs it the most. Rangefinders for a spotter/sniper or designated marksman of your squad, for example, and a compass for a leader if you have one. 4. Keep yourself close to towns usually. It's easier to trust individual people, as long as you don't follow what they suggest. Example: "Hey, follow me to my camp, I have stuff for all 3 of you!" and you follow him, and get ambushed by his friends. An example of where you can trust them is by trading, fighting together etc. since he would not turn on you unless he has enough firepower and manpower to do so.
