My first play with TrackIR 5 in DayZ \o/

So, I got my brand new TrackIR 5 delivered Friday but couldn't get round to playing with it in DayZ until today (sunday).

Rather than just enjoy it all to myself, I thought I'd do a little walkthrough/instructional video to show people how it looks in DayZ.

Its nothing exciting or 'WOW!' but hopefully some of you will find it 'informative' if nothing else.

I've never considered trying FreeTrack. I should try it... I'm not really comfortable with my webcam being constantly on, though. I put frickin' electrical tape over the thing to stop gremlins spying on me. :ph34r:

The software is free and you can test it with a TV remote control( its tracking the infrared LED) .

I had some old remote control,TV,PS2,old VHS videos player and all worked.

I found in the shed a LED torch(small pen) that has a single LED in it and took the infrared LED from one of the remotes and put that into the torch.

Ill be going to find two more cheap torches today.You don't have to use a infrared LED,just when you are playing at night you have a invisible light instead of a visible one.

I was playing one month with TrackIR 5... running in electro to force gunfights and learn to handel it.

I've given up. I can´t handel it. Using only keyboard (Alt) feels for me much more accurate. I can use it on keyboard high skilled and it feels for me this way "like real". I´m "one" with keyboard.

With TrackIR 5 I´m run like a visually, reflex impaired noob.

Love it in singelplayer... mp... no way for me.
