AKM in a nutshell

Recommended Posts

The AKM, every-bodies favorite assault rifle.

Simple and quick review of the AKM and ones like it you will find around Chernarus:

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Pros: - High damage rates when shots are put into the legs/chest area; 4500 blood. - Iron sights can be zeroed for certain situations; 100-800m

- Relatively common in Chernarus - Iron sights can put accurate headshots on targets from 1-300m with the right zero and patience and skill -Great knockout power in PvP situations, could take down multiple survivors at medium range with the right cover.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Cons: - Zeroing can be complicated if you have no rangefinders, making long range shots somewhat difficult when compared to other rifles, but

once range estimation is learned and perfected to a certain point, this problem is minimum.

- Ammo spawns much less commonly in my experience, as opposed to STANAG and Ak-74 mags. - Loud and obvious; the sound is quite distinguishable as an AKM shot.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

All in all, I think the AKM is a great starting weapon, as many do. I would definitely also use it in squads as well. I find, the more ammo that my squad stacks, the more ammo we need to find. If you come by an AKM with at least 2 mags and don't have anything better, grab it and collect. You'll either die, keep collecting ammo, or find something better. 9/10 for inexperienced, 7-10/10 for "masters.

I like it, the iron sights don't encourage tunnel vision like the M4 & M16 variant's do. That and the one hit zombie kills are nice.

Because if it is, I like how it 1 shots zombies, I didn't like it before, thought it was crap, now when I found it, it's neat.

in a nutshell is when something is said in a few words. so few words it could FIT in a nutshell.

1 am, so my best random thought as follows;

"In a nutshell, don't ever trust McGregor with your sheep"

Personally I enjoy the AKM, I like your short review for new players, but if i was doing an AKM review... in a nutshell.

1 shot center mass, very loud, good range.

That's the 1866 in a nutshell, dumbkopf.

Silly Engie. You aren't German.

Most weapons without a scope are bodyshot weapons.
