Can this pc play it

Recommended Posts

I'd have to say NO

Graphics Processing Type: Dedicated Graphics

it can be a scary thought, but building your own PC is really the way to go. if you have an old computer you can "toy" with that, you must have a friend, relative, neighboor who is capable of helping you IRL in this day and age.

(EDIT) just noticed its ATI Radeon HD6670 2GB dedicated graphics card

it should be able to "run" the game...

still, your not looking at "cutting-edge" technology and probably better to build your own.

Will run it but its not a very balanced system, 16GB of 1333Mhz ram with a older generation Amd graphics card, not the best combo bang for you buck wise. You could build much better for nearly the same amount of money.

get an i7 & atleast a Nvidia GTX 560 or up and you will be running any game on ultra, even tho i have my graphics for dayz all on low or disabled, except for textures thats on very high, personal preferances, even tho i can run the game on very high.

and if you get a i7 def make sure its unlocked and invest into liquid cooling.

An i5 3750k works just as fine for dayz and all my other games

I'm not 100% sure but,i read on a review site,The amd fx six core processor isn't great for gaming. The most important thing really is CPU,GPU,Ram and hard drive.I would go for a decent i5,8g ram, nvidia 650 (or 660),and a 500g hard drive. You should be able to find something like that for £500.

Adata 128GB ssd

Peripherals and others for a total price of $1000

Runs everything on high on 1280x720 EVERYTHING maxed out for frames of 100 outside of Towns on high pop servers and on cities 40-60 avg

What about making a "hardware recommendation"-thread in general?

I5 3750k 3.4GHz seems to be the processor of choice at the moment.

for for most modern games, any 2.x GHz Quadcore will suffice.

Radeon GTX 670 seems like a good bang for buck choice for me (5312 benchmark for 360$)

GeForce GTX Titan would probably be the best to get, but I don't know if 9000+ benchmark is worth the $1400 it costs.

My personal graphics have about 4400 benchmark, that's enough for low-medium.

(Benchmarks)

Ram: 4-8GB is more than enough. there is NO 32bit game that can adress more than 4GB ram. that is the absolute limit for 32bit applications.

In general, 2GB per CPU-core isn't a bad idea tough. if you want do do HD-Streaming, get 16GB to have enough left for HD video signal.

Harddisk: At least 7200rpm. Preferably SSD.

Reading from harddisk is currently a bottleneck considering speed. People with slow HDDs but f.e. 16GB ram could use a ram-drive instead of an SSD.

Taking those things into consideration should give you a PC that can play any PC game there is atm.
