What do you usually carry?I usually find myself carrying 1 food and drink in the inv screen, and 2 of each in bag. Feral (DayZ) 622 Posted February 27, 2013 (edited) I get a bit OCD too lol. i go 1 in inventory, 3 in backpack if i have a czeck or coyote, 2 for other packs.It depends on whether you spend a lot of time in citys, right now i'm kind of hanging around the North west so i carry 4 (boiled) water bottles, once i get down to 1 left i embark on a refill and boil mission.I enjoy hunting rabbits, cos they're tricky and give good blood, i try to have a minimum of 4 on me, again once i get down to one left i go on a rabbit hunt mission. I also attempt to kill every rabbit i see so occasionally i can have up to 7 - 8 on me.If you spend a lot of time around towns with supermarkets then you can get away with a couple of cans and tins. I usually keep 2 waterbottles on me, one in inventory and one in pack, and whenever I go near a watersource (Ive haven't gotten a chance to play post 1.7.2 yet) I drink and fill up. B()we 16 Posted February 27, 2013 I carry 1 of each for food and drink in my main inventory and 1 of each in by backpack, 1 morphine and 1 blood in my inventory and the same for my backpack. 2 bandages minimum. 5/6mags in the main inventory if i have a secondary weapon in my backpack i make sure i carry at least one mag for it in my inventory and the rest in the backpack also. OCD style thing.I will normally carry the following at minimum (without Ammo):2x Cooked Meat (cans if no Meat available)2x Water Bottles1x Morphine1x Pain KillersWhen my Drink Flashes ... I eat as well ... and then look to restock on both Food and Drink to be safe.If I am going on a long trip ... I will pack between 1 and 3 extra drink (cans) and food, which I dispose of along the way. Normally I try to plot my routes to pass through areas where there are animals to hunt and water to fill up on.If I get in to a situation and I need to use my Morphine ... I will then immediately find a way to get more. As I am a Lone Wolf ... I will normally go and hunt if I have been particularly badly battered by Zombies.This tends to work pretty well for me. When I find food I pick it up and eat it on the spot whether I'm really hungry or not and use the stuff in my bag for emergencies. Same with morphine, antibiotics and painkillers.
