Ok,i was playing with my clanmates the other day and i found a crossbow.I had a double barreled but i put it in my pack,and kept my m9 just in case i have to spam.I had only 3 bolts in the bow.Couple hours later i had 50-60 zombie kills and the 3 bolts still in my inventory.Is it just me or the crossbow is a freaking beautifull weapon?it's extremely accurate if you know how to aim,and you can retrieve your bolts most of the time.i wanna hear your opinion on it.I know it sucks for pvp,unless you're sneaking and you can get a clear headshot,but it's perfect for silent looting and saving ammo

Because my aim is absolutely awful im hoping you will be able to attach some sort of scope to it in the SA.

It's awful whenever you come across a player though.

And TBH, a hatchet is way better against zombies.

i wasn't using it cause of the bolt issue,as ^ said you need to stack em.but i found one with 3 bolts and i gave it a try,results are on my op :P just disconnected from the same server,i got nearly 130 zombie kills and still 3 bolts xD i came across one guy but i was in my suv and he was too far away to shoot me with his ak,i just drove away :Pi looted every good area of isladuala with one crossbow with 3 bolts,i think im in love XD

I've picked one up and gave it a go until I lost the bolts a few times, always shot the bolts above the Zs heads.

b)Where is the aimpoint for a target with a distance of 10 meter, 20 meter, 30 meter or 40 meter?

I have always wanted to be a crossbow king but i have never had the patience to truly learn how to sight it.

Tried it, couldn't get my bolts back from dead zeds, dumped it :(

It'll be a nice weapon if we are ever able to bundle bolts into one slot.

I hope they ship them in Dayz SA with at least the same scope as Daryl has.

Love the crossbow, gives you so many sneaky-sneaky possibilities and mostly no ammo problems.

When the bolt/inventory/space problem gets fixed it will become a lot more popular for sure.

I hope in the SA we will see a lot more crossbows/bows in many versions, just imagine an old medieval crossbow that somebody could have found in a museum near one of the castles.
