Nerf Zombie Speed?

I kinda think zombies speed should be nerfed?

I mean. If you are ''dead, undead, close to death'' or anything else. How come you run so fast? I'm having a hard time escaping from zeds when they run faster than i do... It could be a idea to make them run fast in the start when they are aggroed but then get slower after time?

I understand that the hunger for players may be big but come on?

After a certian time they should get tired of running and making noize... (My opinion)

the topic has been brought up a lot. i agree but the mod is limited. not gonna flame you but i'd expect it.

They are super hyped an can run for miles !

If you change the zombie speed then you should change the player speed also? Because you can now run infinite ?

Can you understand a bit?

I don't really care how they work right now cause I have no expectations on them being changed in the mod, for SA they will be revamped, but doubt they will run slower. What actually is the problem is not their run speed, but their animations and glitches, which makes them a lot harder for that matter.

I doubt they will ever get tired, the player is the one that should get tired, this is why you have to learn to LoS them and lose them.

Change this and change that a zombie can knock you out with one hit at 12k blood. Thats really annyoing. A zombie cames from behinde, making really no sound and knocks you out. Instant dead.. you can do nothing. You are also full visible while knocked out and if you laying on the ground not knockt out you are not visible... stupid.. and major fail in a core element which is untouched till today.

I'm able to outrun zombies while crouch running, all they really need to fix is the pathing. No need to nerf zombies, they're already easy to avoid anyways.

I doubt they will get any slower. I like them fast anyway. Keeps the player on his/her toes. The. Problem, like others have mentioned is that their movement is glitchy and not optimized. The devs are currently workin on the zed animations as we speak. These problems will mostly likely be ironed out by SA release and the patches that follow.

I have no problem with their speed - the only issue that really bugs me is that occasionally you get one that seems to glitch and stay stuck RIGHT behind you no matter what you do - I've watched over my shoulder as they 'rubberband' from about 10-15m behind to 5m behind in the space of about a second. I'm all for the game being challenging, and I CERTAINLY don't want to see zombies nerfed, they're barely a threat as it is, but I would at least like things to be fair.

I hate to be so pedantic (total lies, I love it) but if it was FAIR, for every zed you kill, one should kill you. :lol:

Zeds don't need nerfed, but someone needs to tell them how contact with walls is supposed to work.

Maybe take them to a basic physics lecture or something.

Think about it - how else are these zombies walking through walls, zig-zagging at speeds that would make Albert Einstein's nose bleed and making your weapons vanish when you try to put them in your backpack? It's zombie wizards, I tell you.
