So I just came home fresh from buying Arma 2: Combined Operations from Microcenter and I'm looking to get DayZ. Can someone PLEASE help me out with what my next steps should be in order to start playing?????

Download DayZ commander and install the mod - it's pretty much laid out for you in there.

I strongly recommend that you check through the Useful Guides Stickies.

Make sure you read the Installation section.

If you have a hard copy you will need to update the game to 1.62 before anything else.

I recommend six launcher instead of dz commander.
