Limited Capacity Testing has begun.

Recommended Posts

They REALLY need to do a mass beta to strain the servers. I'd rather the beta version die from server strain than the full release not work for a week or so.

They are gonna build it up slowly . You can directly start at 100 players per server . Give it some time .

If I had access to the capacity test, I wouldn't e posting here. ;)

Good point. Just what I heard while watching a stream, apparently one of the streamers was talking to Matt and that's what he said.

Really? I hope not. Not looking to start a flame war here but I believe there are other, better candidates.

like who? seannaers? tobuscus? Totalbiscut? No, Frankie is possibly one of the most esteemed DayZ players and is one of the best candidates to get in.

I'm not going to have this argument with you, but long story short I don't think Frankie is all he cracked up to be.

Please, let's just leave it at that. We have our opinions. :D

Hello there

Ingasmeeg is correct, this is not the place to discuss one's fave 'tuber/streamer.

Lets keep it on topic, please.

Remember folks, it's a CAPACITY test. There is nothing to stream. We're testing the envelope for performance with players + zombies + loot and trying out different mechanics to get some metrics.

There is zero gameplay and zero of anything nice to see, except the new terrain improvements, the new sky, and the new buildings. All of that you've already seen. But it's a good step.

Just in from Rocket on Reddit. Maybe my excitement is somewhat misplaced.

Actually, nope, I'm still excited regardless! I'm not sure what happened to the font.

Hello there

Don't get over excited, folks. Let's wait and see. This is just info not a promise that Nirvana is around the corner.

I love it how Rocket fails to realise that at this point a peak at some reskinned beans is enough to get the fans moist.

Hello there

Still reasonably important information IMO. It's one step closer to Nirvana.

Very true, but folk to have a tendency to think because people are testing things that the game is AAA 100pc finished with extra sprinkles.

People should be pleased as it is a step forward but there's a way to go yet.

Its a step closer to release + that we will see more footage(streaming/videos/screens etc) of SA. You cant deny that.

I would love to see more footage and video as much as the next guy but on the other hand it would be buggy, half finished and just a lot of fiddling around with stress testing... We have waited a long time, we can wait some more.

DO NOT RUSH THINGS!
