It would be like a whole-other map! I would poo my pants if this was added. (DayZ SA and Metro Last Light are my most anticipated games of this year. Have access to them trough basements of some buildings and perhaps drains in the harbors. Make them pitch black and clostrophobic and you have a recipee for memorable moments of sheer terror and intense fire fights. wolfstriked 143 Posted February 12, 2013 I was thinking today that certain buildings should have basements.Dayz has all buildings above ground and so daylight peeks thru but what if you needed to enter a cellar.Pitch black,possible infected lingering or even a bad person.Make a higher chance for survival supplies but you risk having to go down with a flashlight or a torch. bospor 0 Posted February 13, 2013 Arma engine is really not that good. Building underground would require building one layer of island on the top of another. So much work! I doubt we would ever see it. Martin tried that on Taviana, but only has a few tunnels and they are just straight corridors. I bet that's a lot of work for him to create the entire network of tunnels under the city. That's another year of modding. Even though Metro 2033 in Arma would be awesome! Epsilon 349 33 Posted February 13, 2013 i would love something similar to the secret labs in the STALKER series, maybe one in each major town or make new research facilities in barren areas to attract players to things besides airfields and pvp cities.
