victusmortuus 1074 Posted February 9, 2013 I have started recently playing on the Balota Buddies UK server, they have no map marker so using land marks like Prud at NWAF are an essential part of play, or perhaps seeing Devils Castle sitting eerily on the hill, suddenly I decided I should really learn the Russian words for the towns and cities in Chernarus.http://www.sporcle.com/games/VictusMortuus/chernarus-russianI decided to make a quiz for the community to test how well we know our Russian, now I know people will likely just google the Russian words but to those who don't, good luck.

plrsniper 87 Posted February 9, 2013 I just took a quick look over the list and knew some of them and could work out some of them by looking at those i already knew. But this is pointless for me and so many others as we know where on the map we are and don't need to read the signs to know where we are going etc. That is, i know the map better than i know the Russian names of the towns/villages. barrett_killz 229 Posted February 10, 2013 In Soviet Russia, Russian speaks you. That isn't really funny for the last 2 years, is it?I've been learning Russian for 5 years at school, and I'm talking in Russian with my friends at the college ATM, so I don't have any problems with this language though. I'm glad that I can read and speak both Russian and English.

Ivanuvo (DayZ) 117 Posted February 10, 2013 Russians are OP.I think that'd probably depend on the person, if you mean overpowered. (Or overpriced)
Sutinen 635 Posted February 10, 2013 (edited) I think that'd probably depend on the person, if you mean overpowered. (Or overpriced)I was just kidding.. They have the advantage of knowing which town they stumbled across, while I have no fucking idea where I am.
