Sula 1205 Posted February 7, 2013 (edited) Shepard, it's really hard to do without instructions. I used a number of different youtube vids and even they were pretty much awful. People forget they have accents, they speak to quickly, cut out the key things like which buttons to press - ugh!You need to buy combined ops (which is Arma 2 plus its Arrowhead add-on), then you need to download the alpha version of the mod "DayZ" from http://dayzmod.com/. You will also need to update to the latest version of Arma's patch, which you can get here: http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.phpI suggest you also download DayZ Commander, which is the best launcher for DayZ in my view. It makes things much simpler and easier than all the others I've tried. http://www.dayzcommander.com/You will need to install the game, the add-on, the DayZ mod, then the Arma2 beta patch and then DayZ Commander. Come back and ask if you still have any problems. It took me 5 weeks to get the game to run.
