Bleeding rate being tied to how hard your character breaths

Recommended Posts

So let me start out with what i experianced the other day. I had an ak74 and some fresh spawn with an axe started chasing me from pretty close to me, so i manage to hit him either once or twice. My goal was to bleed him to death by forcing him to run. so i ran.. and ran.. in large circles.. about a minute and a half this guy barely catches up to me and hits me, putting me on my last 15 seconds before dieing or passing out, so i sprayed bullets and got him right before i died, lose-lose situation.

So basically I suggest a slight and gradual increase in bleeding as players breath harder and pant more from running/jogging. Most players bandage themselves a short distance from where they get shot anyways, this just makes sure that with some of the weaker rifles and automatic weapons that if you do manage to hit them some, that they need to stop at some point.

I like that idea. Fairly realistic as your blood preasure will increase when excersing due to increased heart rate.

At this rate, the Dev Team are going to have to program a fully functioning in-game human body, complete with a complex nervous system.

And the 2 minutes I get to play (before my CPU explodes) will be glorious!

I feel like this is a simple enough suggestion that they could actually do it without a great amount of effort.

my experience due to blood loss is:

  • shallower getting respiration
  • muffled audio, slowly getting deaf
  • tunnel vision with colors fading, slowly getting blind

AND heavy breathing is definitely a way trying to prevent/fight these two latter symptoms! (Attention: a 1st Person Exclusive!)

im actually saying that if your character is bleeding you bleed more per second when your character is breathing more rapidly from running around. as oppose to your character breathing hard as a result of low blood value.
