When I log off a server, am I visible to other players? In other words, if I leave myself in an apartment building or pub, can other players see me and loot my treasures?

when you log off you disappear from game as you are no longer there.

No, but still not a good idea to log off in a building or any where that is likely to have players around - you WILL be vulnerable when spawning back in.

Additionally, your tent or any vehicle you were using is vulnerable to other players in that server only, as both tents and vehicles stay in 24/7.

As soon as you hit abort, you're gone, however I'd still log out in a concealed area, you are in-game for about 30 seconds when you can't see or control your character, when it says "Setup Complete, Please Wait..."

your safe while your offline mate but to re-itterate what ppl here have said its the logging back in thats lethal... I have had it before dc in supermarket logging back in and died the second the login completed.

Reason my character was shot before i even got the ui loaded.

Although it does bring about an interesting idea... Maybe when characters log off their players should stay in as sleeping survivors lol.
