Skins [SA]

So we all familiar with the current skins and my idea is to take it a bit further , as long as the dev are going to keep it in the SA :

each level provide a far more sophisticated skin that make your character look a lot better then before and more important its represent your deeds .

General notice: Every hero you kill is worth 2 kills .

Bandit Skin :

level 1 : in order to get it you need to kill at least 5 players.

level 2 : in order to get it you need to kill at least 25 players . NOTICE: once you got pass level 2 the skin is permanent.

level 3: in order to get it you need to kill at least 100 players.

Hero Skin :

NOTICE: at any point if a player kills 3 innocent players in a raw or 10 innocent players in total he losses any progress he made in this skin and become bandit .

level 1: in order to get it you need to kill at least 5 bandits.

level 2: in order to get it you need to kill at least 20 bandits.

level 3: in order to get it you need to kill at least 80 bandits.

this is the general idea add some polish if you like .

You shouldn't get a hero skin for killing people, bandits or not.

Banditry should not only be caused for killing players. I was thinking of adding things such as leaving items that are riddled with diseases as a trap for a victim, if the victim dies, it'll lower your humanity.

Heroes can be deemed good for doing positive actions, over causing harm to players. This happens if you share your beans, medical attention and so-forth :beans:

No humanity system please.

You're forcing players to be shot on site or not.

Gets rid of equality, and gets rid of tension and stress.

Eliminating humanity would also eliminate the differences of each person's purpose of survival. Having a humanity system gains ups and downs for them, causes them to think before what they do.

There should be other things that make them do that.

You can't tell whether someone's good or evil based on what they wear.

A humanity system takes away from the anti-game experience.

It does nothing but make the game less "who-to-trust"-y, and more Team Deathmatch-y.

DayZ standalone most likely won't use skins. This has been discussed by Rocket. Also:

Seriously? Murdering players to get a Hero skin?

A friend of mine killed a bandit once, then BAM...insta Hero skin.

ok dude so i see you cant understand me so heres an explanation :

if a random guy in the game get rid of bandits which are bad bad people what you think he should be called ? bandit too? ok so what if he kills only bandits and zombies i mean the worst enemies in this game for survivors are the bandits atm since they are humans and they can THINK unlike AI zombies who cant . so my point is that he actualy do us all a favor so this is why hes a HERO

Killing someone for no reason isn't being a hero.

Murdering someone because of the way they look isn't being a hero.

We're getting rid of bandit and hero skins anyway, right?

Bandit skins, Hero skins - getting rid of them i hope. You should be able to wear whatever you want and find.

There shouldnt be 'rewards' for any play style.

Don't people read the devs updates before they suggest things?

As far as I know skins wont be a part of SA, you will have different cloths to put on instead of skins.

Except the humanity system is flawed. A person can get a bandit skin for trying to protect his friend after he gets shot or defending a newspawn. You're not a hero for killing someone for wearing something.

In real life, cops are hero's. They risk their life to make sure no one gets hurt, not even the criminals if they have any say about it.

Clothing in the SA will be random, so no more insta-glue halloween costumes yelling "LOLGUIZE SHOOT ME, I KILLZORD 3 PEEPS NOW (no matter those 3 fuckers tried to ambush me and got what they deserved)" out loud.
