People need to stop posting this April thing. People are blowing it out of proportion. He just vaguely threw it out. What you are doing is just talking about an article that is talking about something that he said in yet another interview. This is third hand information and it is false advertising.

Seriously though... I should start reporting on this kind of stuff. I'm sick of people just hearing something offhand and then making it into a YouTube video to get views.

April would be quite disappointing. I can understand a month or two considering the WarZ fiasco but 3+ behind schedule? In my opinion IF that is the case the delay should have been announced before the holidays.

Especially as we hear next to nothing about development on the twitters anymore. (Maybe rocket should apply to work on Spacestation 13 and Kerbal Space Program)

6 months is fine. Assuming development at a decent rate is actually taking place. However it completely breaks the minecraft model this game is supposed to be. Considering they seem to be free on mentioning future features they like (So the fear of WarZ copying them seems to have passed and no longer an excuse)

Add us some more features, edit the map, don't just abandon it till some standalone news arrive...

Do people actually listen to anything, I say its going to be released by April Is it that so hard to understand? Why the heck would rocket say himself that it would be out before April but still not be true? God, half the people on these forums are such coincided assholes.

Lots of misinformation again, please stop using often misquoted third party websites as sources and instead use Rocket himself. These are the actual quotes:

A: It's very impressive map, but the issue is more it was designed for something specific (helicopters). DayZ needs interiors, they're really important. I think DayZ needs a new map, BI made, that features a western city... let's just say I have plans.

Yeah, I believe it's almost ready for release, they're just adding the last few bits and pieces. No release date as of yet though.

Items like hatchet, hunting knife, matches now have a chance to degrade i.e. fail and need to be replaced.

Eating will no longer refill your blood when you aren't hungry (within 5 mins of having eaten previously), same applies to drinking.

And cooked meat is getting nerfed, the original idea was that it would give you a random number between 1 and 800 blood but I believe this was deemed too 'harsh' and the numbers were changed. Not sure on new values.

I don't have a quote, but zombies will aggro to cars. Running over zombies with cars will damage the vehicles and zombies can do mele damage to windows. If the windows are broken they can pull players out of the vehicle.
