I'm tired of 400+ vehicles, starting loadouts, someone holding your hand, and 24/7 day light.

This is a survival game, so stop with the cop-outs. I opened up a private hive server in Lingor. GMT -8 cycle, bare starting equipment, and heli crashes. There's about ~80 vehicles that are in somewhat realistic spawn points, some repaired/some not. The server hasn't gotten too populated yet, as I'm extremely busy right now... but if anyone is interested in a little difficulty, please join. Let's get this rolling. PVP is encouraged... basically anything is encouraged other than cheating :)

Another server? I think people need to just join a server that fits their requirements instead of making their own. It's hard to find a private server now that has that many members because everyone is spread so thin.

Every Lingor server that's populated is bloated with crap. Lingor is such an excellent map, but the fact that every servers has hundreds of vehicles/daylight 24/7 / care packages is saddening. Server is cheap anyway, if it doesn't take off I'll scrap it and probably take a break from the game anyway.

I've never agreed with 24/7 daylight, darkness is so much more inviting, this isn't the arctic.

I was on a 1500+ vehicle server recently and there must have been a hacker... even with 1500 vehicles I didn't expect to see 25 helicopters at Balota.

This is so amazing! FINALLY someone makes a vanilla DayZ sever that takes us all back to the beginning of the alpha, maybe even back to the beta if we are lucky. All of this so called "progress" which has centered around the community development and what users are asking for has been moving the game in totally the wrong direction. Rocket take notice; do not add all of these progressive elements into your standalone or it will be a total failure. Go back to what worked in the very beginning, watered down ARMA 2 with glitchy zombies. This is what the community wants.
