Hospital Blood Transfusion

Recommended Posts

A simple fix for the overpowered nature of the blood bags would be that you can only carry out a transfusion in a hospital. Since there is only 4-5 hospitals on the map it makes sense, it would drag people around the map more and mean highly geared players have to go to the cities when injured and can't just float around in the forests.

No, this would FORCE a group to enter a city, which is not good. Instead of requiring a hospital, make a new item which you have to have to be able to give transfusions. Syringe or something, I don't know, but something a bit rare which makes it fun to actually find and important to keep onto.

Considering there are only 3 hospitals on the map, I can only see this pushing more people to the major coastal cities.

Rocket intentions are too force people to have to interact with people. Your basically saying its a bad idea to force groups to enter populated areas?

Blood bags already do promote player interaction? Yes, I think it's a bad idea to "force" players into already popular hotspots, I'd rather see suggestions on how to promote less populated areas to be utilised more. I don't think players should be forced via game mechanics to do anything.

I've had a similar Idea I would like to piggy back onto you thread rather than get graveyarded for making my own.

Can still give other players out in the wild blood transfusions, but you give yourself a blood transfusion ONLY in a hospital. You would have to find an IV machine and a blood bag (possibly a battery or whatever the electrical resource would be), sit down and interact with the machine which would leave you vulnerable for say 30 seconds (unable to shoot/move, would make it a trade off of do you want to play solo and take a great risk, or group up with someone to give you a blood transfusion)

Possibly of expanding this to building a player/base would be going to a hospital, looting an IV machine and other medical devices to set up in a player base with the same rules.

I would like to see some of the Medical tents arround the Map to gather Blood bags, but also let bloodbags get sick, after some ingame time (since they are not cooled correctly in backpacks etc)

So these Sick bloodbags could have a chance to infect an player / make him ill

or

loose the ammount of health they restore

How much time needet before they get thick is another question

That sounds much more reasonable.
