zqpmxn 0 Posted January 12, 2013 So i have never played DayZ but i have been watching rhinocrunch's videos on youtube and the game looks like a difficult but fun time. I am excited and want to get prepared for DayZ standalone. I am asking about two things in this article. First, is Chernarus technically the only official map for DayZ? guisho 258 Posted January 12, 2013 Indeed, Chernarus it's a map taken from the ArmA II series. Chernarus+ will differ from the original Chernarus because it has new zones, fully enterable buildings and better bug correcting than the second one. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Michaelvoodoo25 3120 Posted January 12, 2013 SA will have Chernarus+ whereas the Mod has a lot of other maps available and some of them are great.People only purchasig the SA will not be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the other maps, but note also teh Chernarus+ map will be different from the Mod version. zqpmxn 0 Posted January 12, 2013 So It will be more like on lingor island where pretty much every building except for a few will be enterable. That's really awesome. zqpmxn 0 Posted January 12, 2013 yeah it would also be cool to put in those extra maps like lingor island, fallujah, taviana, panthera, and utes on the standalone. I can see for people who have never played dayz wanting more than just the Chernarus+ map.
