Issues with DayZ 1.7.1 *Resolved*

I have been using Dayz for a couple of days and successfully connecting to 1.7 servers i updated to 1.7.1 and installed the latest beta. Now when i try to launch it says "Error creating Direct3D Graphical engine." :huh:

go to your main directory and rename "arma2oa.exe" to something like "arma2oa2.exe" then proceed to "arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta" Copy the "arma2oa.exe and place it in your main directory where you just renamed the non beta.

Put this in your launch options

-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -nosplash -mod=@Dayz

then run as CO, and let me know if it works

Could you clarify where the "launch options" are? Just downloaded everything and can't get it to launch.

Its still not working for me :/

Have tried every solution suggested in threads about this error/update errors but not a single one seems to work.

I can only run the game without beta "properly", or with beta but missing files error -> Not working.

If I solve the missing files i get Direct3D graphical error.
