So you have no access to Steam where you live or do you not have internet, is it a problem of on-line payment ?.

DayZ requires an internet connection to be played.

Can you explain a little more your situation.

I'm not sure where you're located, but here in the states you can purchase a Steam card from just about any electronics retailer, whether it be Best Buy, Walmart, Gamestop, etc. Happy hunting!

I would buy you a copy, but I am really low on money, and am saving up for the Stand Alone. I believe you should get it on steam, because I am pretty sure it is currently on sale, for half off!

arabman maybe the standalone will be on disk (doubt it) but if so you could buy it off ebay or something (need a paypal account or credit/debitcard)

where i live i go to a gas station and tell him i want a paysafe card then he ask you how much 10,25,50 or 100 euro or dollar or pound then you get a note with a pin you have to go in steam to account details and fill up your steam credit then how much you pay add the gas station then choose your payment_method pay safe then u need the pin voila

Only trouble with that is not all stores have it, the Gamestop that we have here in Aus is called EBgames and they don't have them yet. My thought on that is due to Steam dealing in USD only. Chances are there are no steam cards available in their country. Other option if you dont want the gift from me is too see if you can buy a prepaid visa/mastercard from a supermarket or service station and use that on steam yourself or another online store.

For the people referring to Steam Gift Cards, I can pretty much garantee you that they do not exsist in the OP's country of origin.

The two main actors in this affair could not be more "worlds apart", there is yet hope for humanity.
