Bandit Skin

I'd like to see some nerfing to the bandit skin in DayZ. The skin looks so good that some of the younger people on servers try to kill everyone on sight to get it and once the do they try to "live up to the role". The bandit skin is a good idea to show how trustworthy people are but it shouldn't look so good, especially when the hero skin is nothing but a checker shirt. To sum up; Make the bandit skin look worse and the hero skin look better.

The old Bandit skin looked better imo though I've never had an interest in being a bandit. I don't think they should change it. Let the little kids who can't shoot get it and Heros like me will pick them off.

Fair point but atleast make the hero skin look awesome so people will actually want to have it, at the moment the civilian clothes look better...

Agreed, I had a look at the old bandit skin on google. It suited it a bit more, maybe have like a camo clothes with soldier hat for hero or something? I don't know but for some reason I hate the hero skin (for being a hero). Anyone got anything about the hero skin instead of the old bandit?

Old bandit skin was bad to the bone. Way better than the current one. I would definitely resort to banditry if the old skin was still around; I love that thing.

I get the bandit, but part of the suggestion was on making the hero skin look better and I've had no replies to it. I would like to see it more than a checkered shirt and would like an opinion if you also would like it changed and if so how? Also if not and why?

The hero skin looks awesome already though? I'm pretty surprised people think the bandit skin looks better, it's the worst looking skin in the game currently IMO. The old bandit skin looked way cooler

It's just a checkered shirt, I mean the bandit is a complete new skin, the hero should be a complete aswell and something heroic looking, not red-neck (no offence intended). Of course every zombie wasteland needs bandits but it needs heros aswell...

The hero skin has a new shirt, jeans, hat, scarf, vest, shin-pads etc while the bandit skin looks exactly like the civilian skin with a scarf covering the head/face to me?

it might not be as bad ass as the old bandit skin (i almost started drooling over the camo and the head gear was more detailed and nicer) but the hero skin has swag maybe in SA you will choose what your bandit/hero skins look like individually, as well as civvie (hint, hint,)

thats the reward for selflessly helping others, stone-heartedly murdering folks isn't rewarded because thats selfish and killing people is a lot easier than saving them :shrug:

I think the bandit skin looks like a guy with a beehive on his head. That's good, make them look stupid for playing selfish. Hero skin is pretty boss
