The beta is a rolling update. Install dayz commander and it will help keep you up to date.

The reason i ask, is because i see a lot of different ways to install the mod, and i kinda wan't the easiest way :P

Dayz Commander has an install/update tab. It shows you the current version of the arma2 beta patch and dayz client you're running with an option to update or rollback. It also has a list of the custom maps etc that are available and can also be 1 click installed. Dayz commander makes everything 1 click and puts all the relavent files in the right places.

First Install arma 2 play it for a minute, Then Install arma 2 oa play it for a min er 2, Then downlaod dayz comander, then click settingngs and download the beta patch and what ever islands you want to be able to play on. If you're a visual learner go on youtube and search. ezzyyy peazzyyy

Ya most do, just letting you know. If you get bored or wanna try something diff check out i44 or the a.c.e mods.

I just ran them to the main menu and closed. You can use the opportunity in OA to adjust your characters face, change your ingame name, and your graphics options too. They will be used when you play DayZ. :thumbsup:

I ran them just to be sure, well OA anyways already had arma from day one. I always do the lil extra things to prevent fukk ups.
