Help! There are only Mission-Servers?????!

Hey, i'm a new DayZ player!

In videos I can see how other guys are on the servers and can move across the whole map. Try to survive, go hunting etc.

How can I join such a server? The only servers I see have missions, and everytime I join a server its one with a mission and not with a free world?????????

When I join a server, its always the same that happens. I have 2 wespons and my guy is bleeding.

I can not choose a character

You cannot choose characters.

I was able to choose between a male and a female character at one server!!!

But in the other server my character is always bleeding and i have 2 weapons. It looks like online mission
