Why are you not a bandit?

Recommended Posts

This is what I strive for! I play a hero character (Medic) but I also enjoy firing off a few rounds to let off some steam. So, I do this by killing zombies! I take pride in getting atop the zombie kills leaderboard for my server. This lets others know you are an experienced player, without making them think you will shoot them on sight.

Awwww yeah!

I'd just head to Elektro/Cherno with another player or two who loves killing zombies [AKA Steak and Potatoes] and we'll lock it down straight away, clearing out all of the zombies. It's so much fun.

Killing zombies is probably my favourite thing to do in DayZ at the moment.

I totally agree, there is just a thrill that goes with seeing another one of those screaming little buggers fall in their own (if somewhat poorly animated :P ) way! And even more of a thrill to see those kills get into the top of the leaderboard, ahead of others by a couple hundered :D .

Nothing like killing some Zombies. This is how I like to do it :)

I truly feel that if I give in to the dark side and begin shooting on site and killing unarmed players, then all of the COD kiddies who made my first few weeks on DayZ so hard would have won; that is, they would have turned another optimistic survivor into a deathmatching savage. After 6 weeks of play I've only killed 4 players, and only one of those was "unprovoked" (did not respond over DC while pointing his gun at me, claimed in side chat later to have been trying to help me).

I have no delusions the banditry is negative; it is an integral part of the game. But the ignorant, altruistic side of me wants to believe that the savage's mindset can be overcome.

I choose not to be a bandit out of the hope that others will choose not to be bandits.

I cannot trust nobody anymore because too many people betrayed me.

So I'm playing as a lone wolf and that's not bad... but very boring.

Banditry just isn't appealing to me. I used to play with two heroes and two bandits. The bandits would always kill every random we encountered when we traveled together, and it was just easy. The only truly intense moments I ever experienced when we traveled with the bandits happened when we engaged other bandits, or they engaged us. In the end my two friends and I split off from the bandits and killed them when they came after us.

I touh I was the only one lol I love killing zombies and help the ones getting gang banged by them usully is just me but I get some of my buddys sometimes to help on the mass murder. specially at the NWA. is just so rewarding and hard now that they are a bit more deadly specailly at nite armed with my M4 CCO that has the flashlight and a lot of stanag mags.

Also I really enjoy going to the coast to help the new spawn with my guns and teach them how and where to look for good loot also set up my ninja tents and just loot away :D:D Ohh the feeling when you see new high value weapons and gear and just hoard them for later trade is just like the feeling of christmas when you open a present and is such a surprice of what you might get

You've got to be original. That and 60 years of socialism made us Bulgarians very comrade-ey.
