What the hell is going on with hackers?

So a friend of mine just told me to get back to DayZ, as it is now free of hackers...

Hum... Ok...

In less than 15 minutes, I saw a guy spawn an attack helli right in front of me (only to crash it trying to lift off, guess hacks does not give you skill), and then the weirdest thing happened.

i started to get the normal menus from arma (bottom left squares with the team mates, squad orders menu), and someone else started controlling my character. How in the actual f*ck is that even possible?

So they can just control players now??

Did you just jump into a random public server? If so, that's where you went wrong. Find a good private server (there's a section here on the forums) with good admins and you'll have no problems.

Wow. That really doesn't make sense to me. The hive is what made DayZ. It's a shame that it's what kills it too.

Some parents should be public lashed so to start educating their 12 year olds.

Maybe it was just my imagination but the amount of hackers seemed to drastically reduce when Black ops 2 came out, lasted about a week now its back normal.

Hackers are dealt with quickly and severely on our server. It is not a PvE only server though. ;)

PS. I think hackers AND their parents need to be sodomized by a Commodore 64 keyboard with salt and broken glass for lube.

I just came back a few weeks ago,,, hardly run into any on public or private,,, just 1 or 2

I watched rocket talk about the standalone for an hour which he is pushing for the end of the year and hacking is the top priority, I played on a few private hives with anti hax on them and they seem to work, so find a server with anti hax and active admins and you will be fine

Until the standalone is released hacking will still be around, just need to deal with it but I will say its not as abundant as what it use to be.

If your a PvP then go for public servers... If yu actually want to survive, then the private server is the way to go....

Don't feel bad last night my favorite servers (Private) were hit again, Same 2 dudes. I texted the admin to take care of it and he just shut her down. Told me he is fed up with the bullshit of having to repeatedly ban the same guys. (IP addys are always the same. The 1st guy uses the name Spriteful. A no life loser out of Oklaholma, don't allow this assed-faced donkey lover on your server, he will just keep getting new keys, (using the same name repeatedly) + a guy named Rolf from the Netherlands, same thing, except he quit showing up after the 3rd time banned. So once more I am looking for a good server!

I am hoping once the admin settles down he'll keep it going we had a great group of bandits and survivors. I told him to locked it and I'd create a forum for requests and reports.

*Shrugs* Guess thats the price we all pay when no talent jack holes are allowed to run wild.

I dunno, it just seems it's all gone to hell.

Joined ES9 just now, as it's close to me. Even the admin Afrokinito was using a hacked chopper to bomb the sh*t out of elektro.

his excuse? "just testing stuff to ban hackers. if you don't like it I can show you the exit door". So yeah, yay DayZ.

I tried to take my mind off that, and started hunting for bandits. Saw a sniper in elektro, kill him, hit his mate who passed out and alt+f4'ed, and after ten seconds my screen goes all white with the text "Suck my d*ck monkey" (or something like that, i didn't read it that carefully as I quit quite fast (alt+f4, as it wouldn't even show me the menu once I pressed ESC).

I really hope rocket and his team can lock this stuff down. The things they are allowed to do is just ridiculous.

So you say playing the mod as it was made is worse than playing with hackers. Why is that? Have you been banned one too many times for hacking?

there is well administered public hive server! there is many.. RAID WINE for example. or UK25. but in all case the hacker can still TP and kill all in public and private before admin can do something! hackers ruin private hive when they have enough player in to be worth there time. i tried private hive and it just so bad then. also u have these problems like few players on the server and hacking admins! also stupid rules. public is the only fun dayz for me. well administered public server!

There seems to have been a massive uptick in the last few days. Possibly a vulnerability in the latest community patch was found and has gone public meaning free scripts for all kids. Or maybe people are looking to burn their DayZ mod accounts in the run up to the standalone release.

The number of teleports is too damn high.

this is right that it go up a lot in a couple of days. i think OP friend was right when he say that hacking fixed , then suddenly its back really bad. i think its a group of ppl also as they cooperate with heli to machinegun the TPs today. i dont see that shit since months on dayz wtf

Private hives can be equally as bad as hackers. Since the Admins are just hacking in gear/vehicles for themselves anyways and running around killing players because they know their locations. Plus people find it fun to start off with weapons, maps, big backpacks, etc... I don't get it.

another Good thing about VAC.... is that 1 ban with result ina Ban From all VAC secured Games Inc, Counter-strike, team fortress, day of defeat, half-life etc.
