1 hour tolerance. If you get sniped within the hour you don't get penalized.

1 hour gives you enough time to loot the first city and get out, but probably not to get a tent set up far enough away and with decent loot.

I have seen this situation in sci-fi series of past. The game would have to be linked with real world commerce that would have an effect on real lives and yours. Say the only way to make money in the world would be through this game and you have once chance at it tied to your genetic code or fingerprint. The fact is people would worry about their lives but you are always going to get the guys who push it to the limits and just want your stuff at the expense of your life. Most people do want to be the hero but the fact is if the hero does not seriously push back the bad guys will take your life. Lets just hope for the meantime we still have the re spawn option :D.

someone did a flash game like that. It was a platformer where this guy had to save his girlfriend from a bowser like castle. If u died it would just take you back to your gravestone game over screen if u tried to play again. Although this could be circumvented by clearing your cookies and internet files. I think it was called you only live once, or some such.

Not at all. Actually i like the pvp aspect of the game, was just a thought that occured to me and was interested in the response of the community.

well fore one thing if by re purcase the game you mean by the standalone it would have to be moderately cheap because nobody wants to pay for a game and die in the first hour or so and then buy a new copy for 30£

also the PVP would probably be nerfed (by that I mean safezones and all that..) but it sure would make the game more exciting than it is now

What if we had to pay £1 or some small amount to buy a new code to play again? Or even better ( to make the game balanced for people with all amounts of wealth ) it should do what someone else said earlier, kick you for a certain amount of time before allowing you to play again.
