Nimz41 105 Posted December 2, 2012 The only reason I do not think it will be for mac is Arma has never been for mac
gesundheitk 420 Posted December 2, 2012 It's a possibility, considering that rocket has said more than once that making money is not his priority, and that's mainly the reason why games aren't ported over to Mac in the first place. Well that, and they cannot afford to, considering ArmA was on about a 120,000 dollar budget for creating the game. Besides, unless you are running a Hackintosh, some Mac parts are SERIOUSLY overpriced. It's a nice idea though.

Radzaarty 30 Posted December 2, 2012 If you think Macs are great for games then there is your problem, bootcamp is probably going to be the only way.
Dancing.Russian.Man 1631 Posted December 2, 2012 Well that, and they cannot afford to, considering ArmA was on about a 120,000 dollar budget for creating the game.Wait, what? That's incredibly cheap for an AAA game. Are you sure it was only $120k?
catweazle (DayZ) 28 Posted December 2, 2012 (edited) Bootcamp works fine...never had any problems with it.Have fun...it's quite an easy task to do. :DYou could also take a look at CrossoverGames, VMWare Fusion and Cider, but I'm pretty sure that you'll end up with Bootcamp again.Edit:For those who don't know what Bootcamp is.You can create a Partition for Windows on your Mac, install WIndows andthen go to a single Apple-Website to install all Drivers for your Hardware. Simple. Edited December 2, 2012 by Lou-Natic
