Weapon types (not the regular stuff)

Isn't this mostly covered by the durabilty they wanted to implement ? (except those iron sight damages) I would prefer inaccuracy. So you have to know where the bullet goes or adjust the scope.

    Recorded Green Mountain radio signal

Expose yourself to your deepest fear 92.48.90.164:2452

    How awesome?

    emotional rollercoaster
  4. catweazle (DayZ)

    Death?

    Lay down between two trees...broke my leg...then unconscious...then dead...was a bit disappointing.

    An idea for Razors

Add grindstones that you could shave yourself with the knife...rambo-like...and maybe soap.
  6. catweazle (DayZ)

Maps or countries you would like to play in

O'ahu...I fell in love with this Island.

    SA: Theme Park

Abandoned Theme Park would be cool...and a stash of Twinkies hidden in some store there...

Why DayZ will fail as a standalone game

Of course...at least it reduces them a bit :D I think one of the biggest problems is the quality awareness, which is different to everyone...some would be happy with only having something new to play despite the bugs... It is one thing to announce Dogs as companions for a free mod, but if you make something people will pay for quality is a much bigger thing, because people have paid for something then...and it is like this with everything in the game. I don't think it is only Rocket or the Dev-Team that has decided to work more on the project before releasing it...After the WarZ-Desaster there may be also some Stakeholders who would want to invest more time/money for a more polished game to be sure. In my opinion now DayZ does not only stand for a mod of game that has become very successful, but its success is also an example of how important a modding community is to make games the people want. Look at BF3 having no real modding option...BF1 had so many great mods...They bought up the guys from the "Desert Combat" to make BF2...but now you can't make mods for BF3...just to pull more money out of their customers pocket when they want to play a new map or have new weapons...the argument that the modding would be too complicated to assure a proper working is just plain marketing. So this here is also a new hope to the modding community in general I think...so give it time to ripe.

Why DayZ will fail as a standalone game

Maybe the prolonging is a tactic to get rid of all those impatient people who would ruin the game with their attitude when it is released.

longest time you have spent crawling for morphine?

Crawled from Khelm to Berenzino Hospital...moved towards the ladder...the same moment 2 bandits spawned directly in front of me... I shot both, got morphine and was fully equipped then...made my day

Why DayZ sucks, is unrealistic and needs to get fixed!

emotions, emotions... ...others would just have thought: "Oh, this is not my kind of game...I'll try another one"

    Blood Transfusion Kits

I would exchange the rarity with bloodypes...bloodtype is given to you randomly...and you can receive blood from other players with the same bloodtype...but that has already been asked for I think.

Teenagers from Finland made me feel old

When I meet people ingame who sound very young I often get asked how old I am...well 36...A few minutes later I dont hear anything again from them. Maybe they don't want to play with people who are as old as their own parents could be. Patience is a thing most of the youngsters haven't learned... When you had to rewind your Commodore Datasette 3 times because a game wasn't loaded properly you learned how to be patient. Or you could make yourself a butter-bread and watch an episode of Captain Future until a game was loaded.
