exiled 19 Posted November 24, 2012 Hello to everyone.I would like to start a discussion will it be better or not to make painkillers/antibiotics have use count.Now, as we all know painkillers and antibiotics are pills in a unopened box, each box has number of pills in it (painkillers 24, Antibiotics 18), why not make that each time you use painkillers/antibiotics user takes only 1 pill instead lets say 24/18 pills or 1 painkillers/antibiotics, it sounds logical.This way this items could become more useful, and if painkillers are very easy to find and common, U can always make its spawn rate decreased/increased to meet some game balance.What do you think ?Thank you for reading and discussing. 9 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Oompa 25 Posted November 24, 2012 (edited) But only if the pain needs a 1 minute to subside and returns after 5... and pain SHOULD dissappear on it's own after a while, after all... we do heal.Same thing with antibiotics, I can't even remember the last time I was sick and didn't get better after 2 or 3 days, without having to take ANY medication. exiled 19 Posted November 26, 2012 (edited) I see that we are getting somewhere with this, maybe devs see and adopt this idea, at least to see how does it works in game itself.Another thing, as mentioned by some of the readers there can be like 3 different spawns of medication with low/medium/high pill number (painkillers/antibiotics) and in a case of severe pain you take 1 pill and shake less, than take 2nd and be almost calm and if you want u take 3rd to completely remove shaky effect, to enhance effect maybe it would be better for effects to fade gradually and if you did not dose good returns after like 2-5 min... so you need to take medication again.Maybe to implement alcohol, to disinfect wounds if attacked by zombies and lessen the chance of being infected, even side effects of drug misuse, or even addiction to some if consumed far too much.What do you think, again thanks for reading and discussing. Our avatars slam back entire packages/bottles at a time and by some miracle they aren't flopping around on the ground like a marionette with a few strings cut while foaming at the mouth from overdose.Vidya games ur difrent furm reeeeeeel lyfe, hyuck-yuck-yuck.Seriously though, awesome idea. There should also be boxes of painkillers with only a few inside and you should be able to combine painkillers like when you have 2 boxes with 4 painkillers in each you can make 1 box with 8 painkillers. Mos1ey 6301 Posted December 1, 2012 I think it's a nice idea.Like people have already said - painkillers/antibiotics should spawn with a random number of pills (x/12 or x/24) in a packet and the spawn rate would have to be dropped to make them rarer. I liked the bits people said about painkillers taking a few minutes to take affect and antibiotics having to be taken once an hour for a few hours in game time too.
