Morphine auto injector has a set dose in it, and the dose is usually the single use, also considering anti biotics, we have a real 24h cycle in game, why not have set times of day, instead of once every hour, depending on the severity for what your taking those, Say you took some bad hits, and you got this new nifty indicator that has a biohazard shape, and it is on green, but blinks, you take a pill once a day for 2-3 days, during afternoon and it goes away, you dont, it gets worse. You got the icon blinking brownish you need 2 pills a day, on the morning, and afternoon, and for 3-4 days, or it gets worse, blinking red icon, you need 3 pills a day, morning, afternoon, evening, for a week-8 days, and you have random hallucinations due to high fever brought in by the bacteria in your blood. and eventually if you get no antibiotics, you die because you go into a septic shock.
