What do you love this week in DayZ? For me it's....

...finding a perfect condition helicopter ready to fly in Cherno - though I couldn't find any fuel for two days!

...finding two Mountain Dews.

...seeing a goat pass by as I was dying of hunger with stomach icon flashing. I thought I was hallucinating! Never enjoyed steak so much before!

...coming across a friendly and talkative player who didn't want to know where I was and then kill me.

...finding 6 helicopter crashes and coming away with SAW 249s, FN-Fals day and night versions, and a silenced Bizon, what a beauty of a gun! :thumbsup:

So really, it's been a great week for me in DayZ.

For me its been meeting new players.

typically I play with the same group on the same server.

Craving change I started playing solo this week on very high pop servers to make new friends and allies and also make some enemies.

Its been very rewarding to help new players get acclimated with the game. Hearing the excitement in their voice during the first fire fight or finding a chopper crash has really made the game more enjoyable for me.

But really, this week I teamed up with the admin of the server, and we've been finding so much good shit.

Today I got a SVD Camo and 2 M4A3 CCO's.

what i love the most was:

...seeing that the game was updated with alot of fixes!

... logging in with my character on global hive (coyote bp, nv, rangefinder, gps, camo, COO SD + 8 clips, m107 + 4 clips in BP)

... running 800 meters to a car spawn, what do i see? a repaired yellow hatchback! engine still on, watched it for about 15 minutes, then proceed to steal it!

... driving a good 2 kilomters, then all off a sudden ppl start dying left and right, i suspect hackers, death messages keep spamming that more of the 35+ plus ppl are dying,

... thinking about aborting! remembering im in a car, need to step out first!

... 2 milli secopnds pass,

... "YOU ARE DEAD!

Yeeeah man! the latest patch was great!! .........

After being a friendly survivor for so long, I decided to try out the bandit life and find it quite exciting, I only do this on certain servers though. So currently, I love hunting down other survivors.

Fresh spawn in Namalsk, found a Huey right behind me full green, and half tank of gas. Then picking friends up.

2 M107's, L85 AWS, M9SD, FN FAL night, Mk 48 & last but not least the Gauss Rifle w/ scope, that gun has no drop no matter how far you shoot it, chunky but ultra FUN. All of these were found around about 5 heli crashes Cherno/Namalsk and in the bunker in Namalsk.

Being a hero... Trading with someone to eventually run into him again, then the guy I traded with shoots my friend when he ran into a barracks. I seen him turn into a bandit, then he received a mag of STANAG in him. JUSTICE, HERO STYLE!!

Meeting new people, that are friendly... Taking out Bandits... Being a Hero.

Crikey! What a busy lot. I liked every one of those posts. I'm looking forward to hear what else folk have to say.

I just played on a Valkyries server. They were very friendly and welcoming. The admin seemed nice and they have a rule of no killing in churches, which was always the rule of war in the real world. So I liked a lot too. :thumbsup:
