The Legend of Bradley

Recommended Posts

Made this up for the fun of it!

"He cried, he groaned, he moaned."

There once was a lad,

They say his name was Bradley,

Though most called him Brad.

He stood short and scrawny,

Bullied and scorned by those who knew him.

"Never had I seen a young boy so sad and so frail."

One day while working Brad saw he...

A cloaked man near the pond.

The man sang a song so sweet,

Brad wanted to talk,

Though his time was naught but fleet.

"I walked closer, he howled. Closer, he scowled."

Sank did the sun,

But Brad could still hear.

The man's song yet echoed in his ear.

It drew him closer, reeled him in.

Invitation accepted, his fate was sealed.

"He turned and faced me, what horror be this?"

He strode closer, fear in hand.

Realizing too late, that t'was not a man.

Echo did a laugh spread through the night

Bradley was gone, and replaced by plight.

Day by day, the bullies would die.

"His glowing eyes passed me, a howl of pain piercing the night."

Bradley was gone, but so too were the bullies

Legend now tells it that all bullies face thee.

He without soul will reap what you sow.

Be good, warned he, or else you'll turn into thee.

Bandits beware, the Legend of Bradley.

"I followed the sound, and it was a man with a scope trained on me. Groaning and moaning, dead did turn he."
