Evenger14 0 Posted November 15, 2012 Not only does it take a long time to join a server when it actually works, but then you get the servers that just lock up on the loading screen all the time. I spent 40 minutes trying to find a server that A. didn't lock up on me B. Didn't kick me C. That my friend in the UK could also join. Chris529 380 Posted November 15, 2012 doesn't really matter for me, I only join servers with good ping from 10-50. I either find a good looking server and get bad version crap, get frozen at a loading screen (or it takes 10 mins but not waiting that long, so never find out if it works or is 100% frozen). Though usually I can join servers ok but then my friends wanna play and bam bad version even though we all using dayz commander with same up-to-date versions. Check your ping and try some different servers.My ping sucks, and I understand the need for ping limits. As to the trying different servers, I have before. Normally it takes me 20 minutes if not half an hour to actually get into a server that will let me connect and stay in. That's not an exageration ether. porkus_maximus 36 Posted November 16, 2012 Load times increase on highly populated servers and/or servers that do not get reset regularly but since you admit your connection is shit and you encounter this problem on almost every server I think we can conclude that your problem is not the server joining process.
