Pay attention to the CD key thefts happening, don't download any exe you are unsure of that promise to "optimise DAYZ" etc.

Read all the stickies, don't turn all your settings to max, play a bit of vanilla Arma to get used to the control system.

But, most of all have fun.

agree with the play a bit of arma 1st to get you ready to the controls etc .....plus its not a bad game :P ,but then u load up dayz and experience the beast game that it is ,be rdy to run ,hide and die untill u get used to it :)
