Yes, it can be a pain to find vehicles and repairing them can be just as bad. I'd concentrate on surviving and getting some basic gear to begin with. xD

Supermarkets for backpacks, food/drink and some basic items (compass, map, binos). Look for them in cities, they have big yellow doors along the back. A lot of players head to them though so it can be dangerous!
