Ok so I see people with tons of vechicals,guns,ammo all of it do I need hrs and hrs of gameplay to get this stuff or do I just need a strategy and if I need a strategy please tell me what I need to do.

No matter what..always take morphine and always have an hatchet. Get a bigger backpack first if you are going vehicle hunting/repairing . Be silent , be deadly, use your hatchet over your gun if you can. Observe every place from a hidden position before you enter. Deerstands can provide decent mil gear if thats what you are looking for, Balota field and the military tents or snipersville Stary and NW field. Firestations can also offer up decent guns.

Go on a rage fest if you need to blow off some steam, shout and scream over direct and swing the hatchet like a madwoman eating porridge.

Matches and knife are essentials if you want to eat, not so much in Chernarus as the bean trucks all offloaded their supplies everywhere just before the apoc hit.

Unless you need it then the devil VR engine refuses to give to the needy. Find one then your pretty much gonna see um' everywhere.

Use Dayzdb map to find loot spawns

guns and ammo are easy. Sneak around a populated server on the outskirts of a major city and you'll find bandit camps full of all sorts of goodies. Unfortuantely you may also find bandits.

Heli crashes around Stary Sobor. NWAF barracks always have AKs.

Vehicles are another matter. Honestly they are a pain to find and even if you find one, they are an even bigger pain in the ass to find the parts for. A lot of running back and forth into population centers to grab an item that takes up half your backpack.

Private server have all the items you want and considerably less effort then a public server find a 100+ automotor server and you'll be tripping over transports left and right. It terms of guns Cherno, Elektro, And Balota generally have something to get you started, heavier firepower can be found at NWAF. If you wanna find tents just look around zelengorsk western forest generally something thar.
