Why do you wish to join the Militia: Because DayZ is a great mod from a nice game, but unfortunately most of the people who play this mod follow the rule from shoot at sight and for me this is not the right way for this game. I am and still will to be a part from the small part that is friendly(I only shoot at people that may/will cause problem to innocent people or me, like camping sniper that kill everyone). Also my group of friends stopped playing and I'm searching for a new group/clan.

What can you offer the Militia: I can offer my sniping skills to identify innocent people and kill bandits, also my most valuable skills: Map awareness and easily localizating us no matter where we are.

Are you a team player: I can hardly play alone, and still there is no fun to play alone, only if I help a random player. =D

Are you willing to lose your gear if required: For me this is the hardest part of of the application, because unfortunately I am attached to my gear, and I would not like to lose it.(AS50,NVG,Range,...). That's why if we enter a town I would like to stay outside of it scoping the area and guarding the mates and players. Doesn't mater now, I just died by a guy that I was helping near Pustoshka.

Have you been with any other groups,and if so state which: I have been in a group of Brazilian friends that appointed themselves as F.I.R(Free Internet Radio)(Nothing to do with radio ._.)

Extra Information: I live in São Paulo, Brazil(GMT-3)(I may rarely have some problems to communicate), and for some reason my microphone is a bit sensitive(Sometime people can hear me typing and breathing(But don't worry I'm probably buying a LifeChat LX-3000 before August).

Why do you wish to join the Militia: I have had a hand full of mutually beneficial interactions with players in this game and they have always been fun. However, most of the time other interactions involve the death of me, or one of my 2 friends I play with. I want to be a part of the solution. Woe unto the problem.

What can you offer the Militia: Land navigation, leadership, comedy, loyalty, and constant supply runs. Sneaking in and out of Zulu infested towns may be one of my favorite things to do in DayZ. I do it for the thrill and honestly I would like to be able to drop all the stuff I get off somewhere where I know it will be put to good use.

Are you a team player: Absolutely. I'm a former military member and know how to work as a unit.

Are you willing to lose your gear if required: Yes. We all die! Live fast, die young, leave a beautiful corpse. It's the people you've helped that will remember you when you're gone.

Have you been with any other groups, and if so state which: I have only played with two of my IRL friends and we have had some success.

I'm done being killed by unrelentingly fucking retarded griefers that are too cowardly, stupid, and or lazy to get their own gear. I am SICK of the shoot on sight system destroying all social game play. It defies what the game is, a social experiment using a post apocalyptic world in order to set the scene. Without any real form of communication, without knowing who you can trust, without being able to even get a word out before you are shot, it is about time we start to put our foot down as a community and take back the game that is ours. We need to take back the experience of being able to meet and greet, not with fucking bullets but words. We need to take back the opportunity to group with random strangers for both parties mutual benefit. We need to make this community more than a bunch of sniveling, childish trolls and turn it into the real social experiment and post apocalyptic simulator that this was intended to be!

For this reason, I, with full commitment and dedication ready to be harnessed, apply for the Walking Militia.

Why do I want to join: As stated in my preface, I have been killed many times by griefers, and while this is indeed infuriating, I understand bandits are a part of the game. I also understand it is my intention to find and kill every last one of them, without remorse, hesitation, or lack of prejudice. The main reason for doing this, though, is to instill at least a small sense of security or...trust...within the community. No global chat makes every social interaction a blood bath, and this is NOT conducive for the games overall social experience.

What can I offer: Though I am relatively new to Dayz, I have done a LOT of homework on the game. I have a small network of allies, who may not join, but share the same values as I and the Walking Militia. I have died so many times, I care little for the gear I carry, but I will be attempting as often as possible to better gear myself in between raids or helping survivors. I intend to stock the militia to the brim. Those bandit asshats are doing the same for themselves every day.

Am I a team player: Yes, but I also work well alone. I follow orders just fine, help maintain group moral and cohesiveness, and I can adapt quickly to take over if a leader is downed. I also have a nice working headset, a lot of time, and many different modes of communication.

Am I willing to lose my gear if required: Yes, if required. I have already stated that I intend to be gaining more gear than losing, both for myself and the good of the group. I do not intend to go into a city or battle lightly armed, and I don't expect my potential future brothers in arms to do so either.

Have you been with any other groups: No

Extra info: Though you might think one more gun in the arsenal and pair of feet on the ground is all I offer, I intend to take this extremely seriously, as this kind of role fits how I want to play this game perfectly. As such, I intend to dedicate much of my play time to the service, not just use the Militia as a social hub or source of free things.

Why do I wish to join the Militia: Bored of playing alone and I also want to learn more things from more experienced players ( sharpening my skills, learning new things, etc ). I hate bandits by all means. KoS when I hear a heartbeat.

What can I offer to the Militia: Obedient attitude ( somehow ), experienced ( not pro ) ranged and close quarter combat support, experienced ( not pro ) map analyzer

Am I a team player: I dunno. I've been surviving solo this whole time. But 1 thing that I can say, I'm very eager to play in a survivor team.

Am I willing to lose my gears if required: I've lost my Coyote Backpack and DMR. I'll be honest, I felt a bit unease but I'm ok with that. Lost some good gears to sneaky bandits and I can live with it up until now.

Have I been with any other groups, and if so state which: Never been in a group. Trying to survive solo this whole time.

Extra information: I can't speak English fluently cause it's not my native language but I can understand most of English conversations ( been playing international games and chatting with Mumble in English for a long time ). My timezone is GMT +7, my playtime is usually at 06:00 - 11:00 PM GMT +7. My region is SEA so I usually can't find US servers with under than 100 ping.

I have to admit that with the bandits looking like regular survivors, it is harder to tell who is actually in need of help and who wants your shiny things. People need to use Direct Comms more also, since things do get tense up North.

Why do you wish to join the Militia: I may not be a savior like Dr. Wasteland, but if someone needs help and they ask it of me, I'm not going to turn them down. I'll do my very well best to get them back up to speed. Running with those who I can help help other people just seems like getting cans of beans from one loot pile.

What can you offer the Militia: Deployable operative, singular or squad-based. In other words, adaptability. And humor. Lots of that.

Are you a team player: Naturally. It's not in my nature to be a lone-wolf. I'm capable of doing that, but I don't like it.

Are you willing to lose your gear if required: I've lost my gear so many times, to D/Cers, hackers, normal bandits, I don't mind it one bit.

Have you been with any other groups, and if so state which: I've been a member, and still technically am, of Tasty Cereal Time, and Bronies for a Friendly DayZ. Both groups are simply friendly players who like to run together. I would be a sort of Ambassador between the Walking Militia and these two groups.

Extra Information: I have unusual luck when it comes to finding large amounts of good loot. Usually without the space to carry it.

Why do you wish to join the Militia: Honestly, just the chance to work with others. I have no history of death by bandit (my personal nemesis is actually barn stairs.) I've only seen a few other players in several hours of play, and would love a chance to work together with someone rather than working solo.

What can you offer the Militia: A fun new attitude and an opportunity for others to teach me the game! I've just started (about 10 hrs. playtime) but I feel I have a fairly solid grasp on the game, and it's just the finer concepts that need to be learned. I learn quickly, work well with others, and have excellent patience. I also have excellent planning skills and stealth (Six aggros so far. Total.)

Are you a team player: I haven't teamed up in DayZ yet, but I work very well with others in other situations. I've been a leader or a follower, whichever the situation required.

Are you willing to lose your gear if required: Phhhhffftt no! I've played six lives so far and every time I died, a part of me said "all that work, gone..." and then I spawn and I'm like "YEYAH! DAYZ! Let's go next round!"

Have you been with any other groups, and if so state which: Nope, only played alone. One player gave me some advice when I first joined, but I forgot which server we were on and haven't seen him since.

What can you offer the Militia:Me and one of my friends often go looting and have 6 or more weapons that we just leave behind that could be used to arm people within the group,I am also a decent sniper and I don't mind being the medic.

Why do you wish to join the Militia: I think DayZ is best played with a purpose in mind and I can't think of a better purpose than to help your fellow man through the zombie apocalypse. Whether it be through giving supplies, hunting bandits or escorting them to their destination.

What can you offer the Militia: I'm well rehearsed on the in-game survival mechanics so I can fend for myself and can thereby be Johnny On The Spot with supplies. I'm not a bad rifleman either. Basically I'm up for whatever task you're willing to throw at me.

Are you a team player: Very much so, but I can handle going at it alone if need be.

Are you willing to lose your gear if required: If it helps another survivor, sure. Although, I'm on 72 Days of Surviving at the moment so I'd be mad if "Lose Your Gear" was code for "We Have To Kill You For Your Stuff".

Why do you wish to join the Militia: I've been playing mostly solo, as my friends are rarely available to play, and they just don't take it seriously enough to not die with the weapons and gear I give them. It gets frustrating.

What can you offer the Militia: I am available to help out in any way necessary as long as I'm not sleeping. I'm dedicated to the game and I'm looking for a group that I can work with to actually accomplish tasks, as playing solo just isn't viable.

I am sorry to hear that but it maybe happens when 3 of us were killed by a server hopper in the bar. I don't try to justify anything but at this moment, that was pretty much shoot on sight mod.
