Usual night in Day Z?

So i'm still fairly new (5th or 6th day) but this has happened two servers in a row since the patch so maybe it's related.

I'm on the US230 server and everyone on the server is teleported to the beach in a group (25 of us?) and well i'm sure you know how that went. I actually survived only to be dropped out of the server. Decided ok fine there's a hacker on that one, i'll try US231. Find a guy riding around endlessly on a bicycle through Electro (i'd use the full name but I don't know it, anyway big city to the SE), must of had 50 zombies after him. Anyway i'm shot in the back. Meanwhile there's an endless stream of users apparently being "Banned" though I swear names were repeating. I figure ok he might of had a bicycle legit (haven't a clue if bikes are officially in the game or not, first one i'd seen) so I head back to Electro only to find Shakira (player) dancing in front of me, any zombies that charge her instantly dissapear out of existence, no bodies/corpses, nothing. Then bicycle dude comes through again and well i'm killed again. Then I see Shakira banned for teleport multiple times.

I guess what i'm trying to ask here is, is this indicative of how Day Z is? Or is this just a bad patch with holes in it?

Also is the standalone going to fix this bs? You spend hours of your time getting a load of good stuff (and you ready yourself for death because well it's going to happen) only to die to hacking jackasses. I don't "expect" that to be my end, it should be something legit. Zombies or someone with skill perhaps...

So private hives wouldn't have this issue? I'd of thought it was the other way around.

Do a bit of searching around to find a private hive that you like with active admins, it tends to be more enjoyable. With active admins it seems those private hives are virtually hacker free.

I'm playing on "GB 500" it is a GMT time server. (Private)

At this server the hacking is reduced to a minimum, also if a hacker fucks up the server the server admin will roll back for 10 minutes and everybody is back where he was 10 minutes ago.

We will never get rid of hackers for 100% but the system at this server is a very nice compromise.

There is allways an admin around.
