Don't you love making others feel miserable

Recommended Posts

I imagine this is the mentality of the hackers....Some douchebag drops me in the air and I fall 100 feet and die and some little kid is sitting in his room getting his first boner over how miserable he's made me.

Awesome thread, bro. Awesome.

Bandit; it's such a limited perspective on what one person or group of people think I do. Personally, I add excitement and knowledge on becoming a better player for myself and the others I hunt. I try to survive with the gear I find or acquire while at the same time they willingly or unknowingly hunt for me. It's a parasitic relationship, I just happen to try and purposely initiate it.

I understand banditry, but liking the fact that is makes others feel miserable is not really in the spirit of the game. Or any game for that matter. People play to have fun, they shouldn't have to deal with others trying to make them feel miserable.

Every game gives you excitement in some way do me having excitement in killing others and making them feel miserable give me excitement in this game, it's a game not life if you die a new spawn in DayZ and your mad then switch to another server cause your obviously not good on the one you died on, like I said if you die in DayZ you did something wrong

It's " you're " welcome. Don't give up on school, bro. There's more to life than being a griefing douchebag.

I'm not "you're" bro and no one ever said I needed to use proper grammar on this forum

I don't think the act of being a Bandit should be the reasoning stated by the OPs Title. If you are shooting people just to get a giggle, especially unarmed; which are typically fresh spawns; how can you call yourself a Bandit?

A Bandit by definition is one who robs people by violence, obviously when they have something to take. Just shooting someone in the face for the shear giggle factor doesn't constitute a Bandit. This to me is just grieving the unarmed and unequipped fresh spawns and the actions of a person who obviously claims to be something he/she is not to justify it.

But I have, and all I see is you defending your actions by claiming others are doing something wrong. Not sure how an unequipped and unarmed person who can't defend themselves against you is their fault. It's typical of a lot of people to use others as a scapegoat for their cowardly actions.

I said I've killed many armed and unarmed I kill both and as for fresh spawns they shouldn't have died in their previous life, that's their fault for being a fresh spawn because they did something wrong previously and the way I look at it that's not my fault

I know what you said and am referring to your "unarmed" statements. If you're armed and you get killed and robbed by a Bandit fair enough, you most likely have something they need/want.

With the unarmed and unequipped people how can you know they're not new people to the game and a fresh player?

How can you know; if their not a new player; they didn't die before to a person like you that just shoots everything they see and were unarmed when it happened?

The fact is, you can't. So you justify it by throwing it back on others and faulting them for your actions.

The act of shooting unarmed people no matter how you slice it, is cowardly and grieving other players just for the giggle.

What if I was killed by your hacking? Did I do something wrong there?

All I have learned from this thread is the OP is probably a 14 year old hacker with horrible grammar.

When you play DayZ you take that chance, I have been a fresh spawn many times even before I became a Bandit and guess what people killed me I can't count how many times I've died honestly let me put it like this it a part of the game wether you like it or not and that fresh spawn could have a chance of getting a weapon later on and becoming the same exact thing I am and kill me or any other person so the way I see it is I'm protecting myself in the long run

im not 14 first I'm 22 and second if you get killed by a Hacker then that's a different story seeing as I'm not a hacker I meant when people die from me or other players and not hackers then they did something wrong because you can't protect yourself against Hackers unless your an admin

The point I'm really trying to make is that you're calling yourself a Bandit but your actions do not constitute the meaning of it.

Again, you're justifying it by throwing it back on others maybe getting a weapon, maybe finding you in the sea of other players and killing you. When in fact they are most likely; especially just new to the game; just finding their way and wanting to play and work things out.

Whether I like it or not, I know it's in the game but that doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. Guess my moral compass is intact and not broken like so many others.

Do we have a bill of Rights for DayZ players now? Last time I checked DayZ had no moral it's the Zombie Apocalypse people kill people wether they are armed or unarmed get over it

Nothing to get all defensive about... Really nothing for me to get over either.

I believe I have stated that I accept this is in game but it doesn't make it right. If the purpose of your playing the game is to make people miserable then this is called grieving, in other games this would be frowned upon. I don't think DayZ is an exception just because you think it is and try to justify that it is.

Anyway, have fun but karma will always bite you in the ass.

What would be the purpose of playing Dayz for you if all you did was collect supplies and weapons while not worrying about other players? You subconsciously come back each time after people kill you because you like the thrill of avoiding or hunting down bandits.

What acts have I done? I've went around trying to kill everyone in the servers I play in and Ive killed enough people to say that I'm a Bandit and I also have the Bandit Skin so yeah I guess I'm a Bandit haha

That's not banditry. That's straight up murder. Learn to differentiate.

LOL yes OP I get satisfaction just like most of the players in dayz. hardly anybody uses this forum compared to the game it looks like and it seems more like a place to play pretend compared to the game lol. dayz has no in game rules or objectives, so anyone can do whatever they want. there is no difference between a murderer and bandit since you get the same skin for killing dudes that have no gun or killing dudes with a gun. oh man i dont even know where to start with the concept of a moral compass in the post apocolypse lol. what do these pussies know anyway

every time i nail an unarmed guy i just laugh imagining one of these kids going nuts on the forum. dayz, best game ever

I believe the thread is not about the Bandit skin but the actions constituting a Bandit, which shooting unarmed/unequipped people in the face clearly is not a Bandit action. Whether or not they're the same skin isn't the point.

As for a moral compass bit... Why does it always come down to name calling and verbal bashing, rather than having a proper discussion?

It appears that you can't properly argue the point so resorting to childish banter is all you can muster.

Kids these days... *sigh*
