So if its in Steam what does the Ban message say because you shouldn't be able to buy a banned steam key unless you bought a whole account from someone.

We need more information than that. Those random numbers is the code used for whatever the problem is. Tell it to us so we can actually translate it.

Screenshot that shit, I know you said "it didn't work", but I have never not been able to take screens through Steam. Did you try F12? PrntScrn?

from what little info you have given it sounds like a community ban which would be impossible on a new account that has never played/owned ARMA or DayZ unless somehow your IP is on the CBL which I don't think is possible

I had the same problem when I first got my copy. bought mine from gog.com - thought they sold me a bogus key lol. turned out for some reason when I first installed the game my cd key wasn't saved to my registry. I uninstalled ArmA and DayZ, then defrag'd my registry. reinstalled ArmA and DayZ and the problem was solved...until the "bad serial blah blah blah" message popped up. all it was, was the MAIN files for ArmA in both locations in my registry had \\ at the end of the filepath when it should have been just 1 \. just delete the extra \, save it and you're good to go.

I'm trying to get a screenshot but now all I'm getting is "Bad CD key" or "Invailid version"

But I wrote down the BattlEye error: (Admin ban((W4d9b2182 ox0f44d938))

NOTE: he o's could be zero's

verify the game files in Steam, that may just fix the issue.

How do I do that exactly?

click on the game in steam, right click, choose properties, then at next windows choose "local files" then "verify integrity of game cache"

When finished it sayd "1 files failed to validate and will be reacquired"

EDIT: Trying with DayZCommander now, I will notify if it works

Still doesnt work, I keep getting "BattlEye initialisation failed" and when I join a server without BattlEye I still get the "You were banned" message!

if there is an error you need to fix that first FFS not just keep trying to join a game, you may now have the old Battleeye files or simply not have fixed the issue, try verifying the game files again and see what happens.

Tried verifying it again multiple times and it keeps saying it failed

So delete the game files and re-install it because its obviously a problem with the game, see I was right about ignoring the problem and just trying to join, just quickly how old are you OP?

Just delete the game and try again before trying anything else, there is a problem with your game files.

Your GUID is on the community banlist according to that message.

Did you ever install a cracked version of ArmA OA?

I did ask if he owned it at any point but didn't think of asking that one :(

I only asked because someone with an identical username has posts on some dodgy website asking about servers that allow cracked copies of the game. If it's the same person he probably still has the cracked cd key in his registry that is banned, who knows if he has actually purchased a legitimate copy since. Maybe it's another person with the same name but if it's not that's a pretty important detail to leave out.
