Kicked from server: Script restriction #16

Hello, I am having a problem currently, where after a few seconds on a server I receive the message "Kicked from server: script restriction #16".

Now, I am not a smart man and, as such, have no idea what this means, or how I can stop it from happening. This is where you hopefully come in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Did you install the latest Beta patch (93825)? Apparently it's causing this.

I have re-downloaded 93825 and I still get kicked with the same reason.

I can confirm. Installed the latest beta patch and I'm getting the same error on most servers.

delete the beta folder and dl previous and play then?

or be patient and wait for validations to go through across the board :D

First I got script restriction #16... now I seem to be getting script restriction #113...

Beta patch 93825 installed = kicked with script restriction #16 here too.

The current solution is to downgrade to Beta Patch 93701.

Just find the beta folder, delete it then install beta patch 93701

Assuming, you know, the server you're trying to connect to hasnt upgraded and is giving you a Bad Version error.

I've tried only connecting to updated servers and the error message is there.

Anyone getting infinitely stuck at loading screen now due to Beta 93825?

I've tried 8 different servers - 4 Beta 93825 and 4 that were Beta but below 93825 - in the last half hour and all fail.

Is there something up with beta 93825?

Everytime I play I get kicked by battleye for script restriction #16. Reading around the forums there seem to be lots of bans flying around from battleeye. I don't think I have been banned, I never run any scripts etc, certainly not a hacker. Been trying to get a game going for last hour, not sure what is going on.

Any help out there?

Myself and another mate have both just had the same script #16 after loading latest patch. Rolling back now... hopefully.

Confirmed. Rolling back to previous patch fixes the problem. Find your beta folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta )

Delete the content and install previous patch 93701: http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php
