I have learned my lesson and I am not asking for an unban, but for a way to buy a second steam copy. If anyone knows a way, please let me know (as a form of atonement and that I already miss being able to play the game)

but eh, i think you can do a swap in your registry if you purchase the keys from somewhere else.

Totally agree, but it's less of a total tragedy for people who didn't get banned, didn't hack and didn't enjoy getting killed by hackers. Infact it's only a small tragedy or a minor awesome huge victory for everyone, but hackers.

By your own admission, you didn't affect the game much, at the most getting some good weapons to kill other players with. And you're being good about taking your punishment, which I can respect.

I will look down on you for being a cheater, but you've earned a lot of respect back from me for being upfront about it and taking it like a man.

I say get yourself a new copy of ARMA2 and come back to DayZ, and enjoy it with the rest of us. No hard feelings from me. :)

Spawning weapons greatly effects the community.

Say a new player stumbles upon the hackers dead body and takes his gun. The new player gets a battleeye ban for having an ilegal weapon. That is what is truely sad.

That is why I have no sympothy for hackers. They are too selfish and that greatly effects everyone.
