Was anyone else "molded" into a bandit?

Recommended Posts

I don't think I'm quite a bandit yet, but I'm reaching that point. I can't trust anyone these days.

I have rules though.

1.) Don't shoot unarmed players.

I reached my breaking point of trying to interact with others. Am I a full fledged bandit? I don't think so. Just don't keep running towards me after a warning shot or I know you're looking for a fight.

Also, it's generally mean to kill unarmed players. But when they're one loot spawn away from being armed in certain situations, I'll watch and wait from a distance.

Every game I've ever played (that allowed it) I've been a PK. When I begain my DayZ, I decided to be an anti pk (I hunt PK'ers for those who dont know what a anti does) for the plain fact it looked like everyone was a pk. I am enjoying the change.

(edit cuz i am a doof)

I think it is easier and safer to just go as a bandit. So of course that is the smart route.

In DayZ im am somekind of Anti PK but im working together with an actual Bandit, My rules are the following:

Never shoot unarmed players.

Only shoot players that aren't bandits when they've seen you and theres no other way to avoid death.

Never act stupid and always be focused on the game, Yesterday for example i just ambushed 2 very high equiped players that obviously got their stuff out of a hacker box, they were dead in under 3 seconds.

I usually shoot on sight only if they have a better wepon than I am carrying. Also, if they yell friendly before I get them I usually let them live

Bandits rob for gear, yo

God molded me into a bandit. And i also have one rule

1: KOS everything no matter the circumstances.

KOS everything is not being a bandit, its being a murderer, theres a difference

Bandits kill or rob for gear

You kill because you want to, therefore your just a murderer

This is basically what I do, I'll work with bandits sometimes, but for the most part I only kill people I've seen kill others (Or have a bandit skin), or kill when I feel threatened (Verbally, by them looking at me, better gun, and stuff like that). Occasionally if I'm MASSIVELY out-geared by someone I'll kill them for the loot jump, but that's not very often. I do try to be friendly a lot of the time, but you can't let that let someone else get the upper hand on you.

Currently myself, I am a bandit.

However, I'm trying to get myself hero status.

My new rules are:

1. Do not shoot survivors or heroes, unless they shoot at me. (Kinda common, I am a bandit after all).

2. Avoid letting anyone see me if possible.

3. Shoot bandits.

I don't attack people unless they get around 100m meters near me, then I kill them.
