vehicles spawn after each restart, doesnt take a genius to figure that out. When it comes to items i will think its once per hour except from crash sites.

Check the Logs for Position of the Vehicles. E: Use the most Powerfull Vehicle to Destroy the Armyship and then Destroy the last Vehicle.

im a server host and i got a problem. there was a hacker(or possibly more) on the server. they spawned in a huge armyship and multiple apaches. i went in one of the apaches, destroyed the other ones and then flew the one i was using into the ground, but i cant get rid of the ship. i heard there are multiple camps with tanks and other forbidden vehicles on my server aswell, but i cant clean them since i dont know where they are. so i wanted to know if there is a way to reset the server or find out where tents and vehicles are. i would be gladly apprechiative of any help.

Hey - you are doing great - some of these changes are demanded a lot since months by the community - especially the NVG/L85 and bad ass snipers removal. One question - I didn't see that you have resolved a problem you should be able to - items duping? What about auto-saving tents/vehicles each time server stops/starts or restarts? Would be enough to make sure that players do not have infinite supply of whatever they have saved in a tent? -
Will tents and cars go cross-servers?

Also if the tents and cars would go cross servers, the game would be filled with vehicles and cars and tents and the server would lag pretty badly. Unless the developers could make the hive spawn out your tent and car out of the server once you leave it. -

We have over 200 players in various Fire teams and groups playing Day Z and using our Teamspeak Server to communicate and coordinate their scavenges and raids. These teams have several bases, vehicles, camps and play across several of our own home servers. The community is mostly adult gamers over the age of 20 (well over in most cases!) but there are no age, time or skill requirements - all we ask is you play fair and have a bit of common sense about you! Our members are based all over the world and are on at all times of the day and night, but all speak English and most are based in the UK and Mainland Europe with some in the US too. We've been gaming as a community since 2002, so we're not some ad-hoc fly by night clan that's been quickly set up and will be gone in the blink of an eye! There is no obligation to join our clan or any of our affiliated clans/groups to take part in our sessions though, everyone is free to urn up and get involved. I really dont see a problem with these as said we already have the peripheral dots which show zombies, animals, and vehicles within 250+ meter radius. I think actually, what they might do is once some one shoots, their peripheral dot should flash red and be a little bigger to indicate a greater threat from that angle, if your taking fire and dont see a dot its because hes in front of you. the mechanic is already there it would not be adding anything new simply improving how something already works. and before some wise ass comes along and screams ohh thats no realistic, dude just dont, there are so many things in the game that are no realistic so just shut up.

Scripters haven't been a big issue for me lately. It's the bugs (beach spawn on server join, vehicles running into slow-to-roadblocks, erratic tent behaviour, etc) that made me stop a week or so ago. And probably a bit of boredom. I'll be back for Standalone for sure though. WarZ feels like a half-assed, slapped-together rip-off that came came about while its developers were sitting around thinking of ways to recycle their game engine. At best it'll probably be a slightly polished and bug-free version of DayZ mod, while DayZ standalone evolves into something much greater.

Ok say they do, should they remove assault rifles, granades, LMG, the helicopters, vehicles? I mean it's not fair that you may have one and I don't. Do me a favor if you want a cookie cutter zombie game go play LFD2, and let Rocket & BIS create the game they want. Quit trying to pretend these polls, your suggestions, or our objections mean squat.

Yeah, James, the situation that happened to you is no longer possible in 0.2.4. The shed issue theanes mentioned is no longer possible when you first get to an area. If you were to hang around that shed for about 20 minutes, the numbers would grow to about 40 zombies there. But it would take 20 minutes of you sitting by that shed and not killing any zombies. Still, like I said, I'm not perfectly happy with the zombie mechanic yet. But it's going in the right direction. I do like that the barracks at NWAF become death traps if you don't sneak into them or have a buddy or two to help clear. As for the EU server, I'm ready to turn one up now (didn't think I'd be saying this so quickly). But I have no knowledge of EU based providers. As mentioned before, if anyone knows of any quality Windows 2008 VPS/Dedicated Server hosting over there, I'll get one turned up for you folks. Although, I will miss playing with some of you. I think the server is disproportionately compromised of non-USA survivors, which only makes me sad in the sense that I hope the mod will continue to grow in popularity and get some numbers up to replace those on the US server who end up going to the EU server. Note that the servers will not exist in a collective hive, as I can think of no reliable and consistent way of preventing people from ghosting or otherwise abusing that mechanic. I've yet to determine to what extent, but I will be 'transferring' survivors that elect to go to the EU server should they want it. I probably won't let you take vehicles or tents just to ensure the server has a somewhat fresh start, though. -
Hey! Another DayZ With Trizzo. Had a pretty fun run a few nights ago!. An epic team up with a Bandit. What makes it interesting is that i play as a hero...and nobdy was killed on sight.... Along the way people will be excuted and people will be saved. It's a battle of wits as the hero tries to change the bandits murderous ways...but skirts on the edge of the dark side himself...Next time you see a bandit think of the possbilities... Contains executions, robberies, vehicles and everything in between! Perhaps not entirely action heavy but the player dynamic is interesting...times of highlights are marked on youtube!

US 3340 - Scripter takes all vehicles, puts them in on island

Thought I'd post this up for the Admin of US 3340. A scripter came in, took my truck (with a friend in it, i was exploring a building for items), and teleported it to an island west of Skalisty Island. He can't screen shot, but there was 6-7 vehicles there, an exploded helicopter. It seems like he just went through the server finding everything and just bringing it there so no one can have it. This happened at around 1:15AM EST - GMT -5. His display name was "Penis Breath" (Seriously, not joking) if that helps when you check the logs -
I can't help myself but laugh when stuff like this goes on when you need your serious face.. The first clip has it. On a private hive so custom vehicles.

I ask wheres the fun in collecting the best weapons, vehicles and equipment? And not finding some bandits to engage or stick up, its how people deal with confrontation in DayZ. DayZ isnt a game its a social experiment which means your going to have to meet new people and make friends.

We'll be releasing the new version of Bliss with rMod very soon. I hate to delay rMod another day as it's ready but we'd prefer launching at the same time as we have Bliss v3.5 up and running. Huge update, Takistan and Utes are ready. Question for our community regarding Utes: Do you guys have any problem with no vehicle spawns for Utes? We're debating whether or not we should spawn vehicles. If you guys think we should have spawn locations, which vehicles and where? Look in the BlissHive.log for the line: call proc_loginSurvivor('XXXXXXXXX', 'USERNAME') XXXXXXXXX - user id (profile/survivor table) USERNAME - user name (profile table) That said, whitelisting for Bliss is being removed on v3.5 - which will be a mandatory update for all Bliss community/private servers.
