Have replied to a couple of other people's posts to no real avail as of yet.... I am a bit of a newb to be honest but have just about got the hang of it. I wanna be able to team up with another player so we can watch eachother's backs and hit some heli crash sites, use bloodbags, sort some vehicles out and do those other things that are ball-ache to do on your own. I am not into shooting other players. That may be your bag but it isn't mine. Sure I will fire back if attacked but I would take no joy in gunning down a player in the back. I don't do any form of "hacking" either. I wouldn't know how and have no interest in it. I am into having a laugh though. You gotta have laugh. I'm afraid the only langauge I speak other than English is Spanish and my Spanish is pretty ropey. My English isn't fantastic but I get by. Give me a yell if you are interested. I wouldn't rule out joining a clan but for now a team of two or three people is probably enough. If yer game, give me a yell on Steam (mattupchuck) or Skype (mattupchuck) or here. Oh and despite my insomniac sleep patterns someone with a similar timezone to me (GMT) would be ideal but it's not that important to be honest. Anyway, thanks for reading this far. Respawned all the way across the map at Otmel without any items, except I kept my military clothing, my poor health, and food and drink status. More detail in the thread. Getting really tired of losing items due to vehicles not saving, and tents having similar issues.The server is also not very busy, generally maybe 7 - 9 people. Last night it was me, myself and I.

Agreed Survival Servers are the biggest bunch of con artists and thieves to ever enter the server business. My server was down for 10 days and not working properly for alot more. Did I get compensation HELL NO!!! I am now with DayZ.ST and the server has worked the whole time. The only problem was the vehicles being deleted after Bliss v4. It took them 1 hour to fix, that's right 1 HOUR. You look through Survival Servers forum and it has been going on for days. Emails are answered straight away, where Survival Servers give you a generic shit answer after 36 hours. AVOID SURVIVAL SURVERS LIKE THE PLAGUE!! THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE DISEASE!!! I would recommend everyone to switch to DAYZ.ST

Out of interest who is hosting your server? I am using dayz.st and have managed to spawn all kinds of vehicles that you wouldn't normally see in regular dayz by using the custom option on there map tool so if you are with them you should speak to ersan and ask him what the problem is,if you are not hosted by them i would still suggest speaking to your host as you should be able to spawn all the vehicles i have done without too much effort.

What map are you trying this on?...some maps have some vehicles banned and others they work, for example on Namalsk you can spawn in a ka62 but you can not in Panthera. If you are running Panthera i don't know why you can't achieve what you are trying to do as it sounds like you are doing it correctly.

Not only that but they are dissapearing as well. We wiped all vehicles on our server and respawned them with the server tool and those are not spawning at all or spawning broken and empty.

We have found that these settings also have the added benefit of deterring most hackers and script kiddies who do not enjoy "playing" the game when it is difficult to fly or drive their hacked in vehicles or use the iron sights on their hacked in weapons or unable to lay prone in a field with third person and wait for someone to show themselves before they do. That still looks pretty kl though and better than anything I have managed to do. Don't suppose you could backup the buildings part of your database and see if I can put on my server? Also I assume you are running RMOD with those vehicles?

100 vehicles and side chat are good draw cards but regular servers suck balls and 24/7 daylight sucks balls even harder.

Thanks for the information but that is not what i mean. I right click on the map and place custom vehicle (MV22 for example), after restart teh vehicle is there because in order to vehicle to appear server needs restart. But i cannot get the venom/little bird/takistan huey to spawn at all, i tried many vehicles but only few of them works, how come the little bird for example works for you, but not for me? Love everything you guys have to offer thus far. Feels so much faster and much smoother than my previous host *cough Survival Serv... cough* Couple Minor Issues I've noticed: - I'm running Panthera right now and I haven't come across any care packages yet. I've looted plenty of wrecks, but no care packages. - The Automatic restarts don't seem to remove destroyed vehicles and re-spawn them. I need to manually click the Spawn button and restart. Is this the way its supposed to work? (I've changed the "chance" for respawn to 0.999 for all vehicles) - I'm getting double spawned vehicles in some areas. Mainly North AF. I've tried deleting the spawn point and adding a new one but the issue persists. Not a huge deal, kind of funny to see 2 Osprey's mating...

or maybe just the wildlife noises change with the presence of someone running. Such as the birds and crickets go silent within 50m or even further when vehicles are approaching. Obviously a wider variety of wildlife noises would need be added to make this sytem functional as not all animals or insects give any fucks whos doing what around them. So then only those with knowledge would gain advantage as rocket has said he wants realy life skills and what not. But the birds flying would be nice or other creatures scurring away from comotion. Just imagine half the maps birds flying when some lets a 50cal fly or a hueys tearing ass over the woods causing a stampede of deer and wild hogs to flush from the bush. That would get your blood going and with the added animals stomping around you could even use their noise for concealment of your elephant feet

I presume you are running a bliss server as we are. There is a world vehicle table in your bliss server files, for your vehicles to respawn there must be an instance in there for every corresponding vehicle you want the map to respawn after clean up. You need to chose a spawn point for your vehicles not just place a vehicle on the map as once it is destroyed without the vehicle being in the world vehicle table it will not respawn. If you have team speak just come to our server and I could help you further when I am next online.

greetings server admins, i have 1 question how did u spawn the little bird, venom and takistan huey? i have this map tool where i can put custom vehicles on map (think u have the same), but these 3 vehicles jsut dont spawn when i restart the server, any ideas?

Damn it, why are they removing the Osprey from the community patch? This would've been one of the most awesome vehicles to have in the game, and truly something to strive for. Keep it in please!

Due to all of the hacking we which takes place DAYZ, a few guys have put money towards a server that we are running and we'd like you to join!
