Just another update, we've added a ton more vehicle spawns to around 300. We've also included a new feature where those with a toolbox can salvage other vehicles and siphon fuel. We've had plenty of players so far but would love to see more!

From the top of my head, I can think of five reasons why this is a bad: 1.Flying a heli with <2k distance removes the immersion 2.My m107 is now useless 3.The game now looks like shit 4.Cannot spot vehicles from afar 5.Cannot scout out places before I make a move I mean seriously, this game is about realism and immersion.

Der Server wird Täglich Restarted, so dass Heli crash-sites und Fahrzeuge neu erscheinen. Zudem Starten wir manchmal auf einem anderen Server ein paar Events, wie zum Beispiel "The Hunger games".

I've personally met more friendly's than bandits on the server. One funny experience: my squad and I were driving our two vehicles north as we see 2 vehicles coming in the opposite direction. All 4 vehicles veer off the road to avoid a collision, and we're using the free look to make sure they aren't chasing us and trying to gun us down or something. My buddy hits one of those road poles and gets stuck, and so does one of the vehicles from their squad. I drive up a bit and get out, take a knee behind some cover to prepare for the worst, when the other squad gets out of their vehicle and declares friendly.Their one vehicle manages to blow up some how, and my buddy asks if they can nudge him out of the road pole. They do so, noticed we blew a tire, and quickly say "oh, you blew a tire. We have one in the back here one sec." They bust out a tire and fix our car, and we part ways. It was a pretty cool experience.

Yup! They killed the crew, but weren't good enough to get me! After you left, we convoyed over to the Polana factory as we had nothing better to do. We were just being idiots throwing flares and shooting zombies and their posse took up position on the north hill overlooking the factory. They started shooting and we quickly realized it wasn't coming from our group. An intense firefight ensued, and we killed a few of them (NOT ONE of their bodies were left as they died, bunch of combat loggers!) and they killed a few of us. Pop flanked up the hill and got killed by friendly fire as none of us had night vision and shit got chaotic. I was the only one who survived, and did my best to hide and protect the vehicles, but they sent down guys to take them while continuing sniper overwatch from the hill. I had very little ammo, because it was mostly stashed in the truck to make inventory space for looting, but I did empty an M4 magazine into the truck as it pulled away. This is where I got hit by a zombie and noticed I had no bandages on me! Strange server stuff started happening which prevented me from recovering any of the gear from my fallen comrades, and prevented Steak from blood bagging me when he got to the factory. I was passing out left and right and was just trying to find some canned food to get to a reasonable blood level. As our guys respawned, they made a beeline to the factory, and kept eyes peeled for the vehicles on the roads. In an amazing feat, Typical_Noob managed to kill the driver of the white car as he drove past him at top speed using a double barrelled shotty of all things! He recovered the car and we used it to start forming back up, but by that time it was 4am and I couldn't stay on any longer. My goal now is to get my truck back! It was an intense end to what up to that point had been an entirely crazy evening already. Chalk full of awesome.

I've been watching DayZ for a long time, played it a while back (About two months ago) but my computer didn't run it too well then that computer broke and a ton of stuff went down, but I recently got a new computer which runs DayZ perfectly. I've been playing DayZ for about 5 days now and am doing good. I have a group I play with quite often but would like to expand that towards the DayZ community. I'm looking for mature players who play and act smart. Not the ones who kill for no reason, but if they feel threatened then they will open fire. That's DayZ though, you can't trust people unless you know them well, but even then. I would be turning this into a clan if I get enough players. I think it would have a good chance. Hello everyone we are a fairly new server here on DayZ. So far we have acquired a lot of players who play on a regular basis and this is good especially since we are a very new Private Hive to the DayZ world. We also have our very own Team Speak channel for the game, we truly want to empower the idea of player interaction and we also intend to encourage the PvP side of things as well. Admins are friendly and are willing to help friendly players out if they too are friendly. The server today alone exceeded expectations for we had 46 players on at once. On the other hand, our Team Speak server is designed for players to group up with other players and there is one rule while participating in the Team Speak server; don't kill other players in Team Speak otherwise you will lose your Team Speak privileges. Past few nights this german server: "DE Chernarus [Vehicles x3] (v1.7.4.4/build 99515) [veteran][DAY ONLY] The HYPNOTOAD Private Hive by G-Portal.de" i've been frequenting with my mates have been getting attacked maliciously by hackers.. Just recently a hacker launched a end-game bomb or whatever, killing everyone. I heard about it fast enough from my mates who were in another location and i disconnected. I try and reconnect 10 minutes later, and i've been admin banned for hacking/cheating... What can i do about this?

Bump. Been having lots of fun tonight, still could use 7 or 8 more players at least. Lots of new players running nice vehicles and such, gearing up nicely. Admins know how to spruce it up.

Hands down the most exciting night I have had in DayZ in the 4+ months I have been playing. Believe it or not, it got even crazier after you logged off. At one point everyone except me got killed. Vehicles got stolen, zombies sliced me and I was caught without bandages. When help finally arrived in the form of a mustachioed Steak & Potatoes, I was down to ~1,000 blood but I couldn't get blood bagged due to some funkiness. It was nonstop drama, banditry, desperation and excitement. Hot damn!

Alright, so, here's what happened. I just started playing on this server, and I ran into Elektro. Shortly after, in the fire station, a hero with a DMR runs up and shoots me. Fair enough. Spawn in Kamenka, kill myself. Respawn in Elektro. I tell my friend, who can hear more DMR shots, "I'm gonna look for the guy that killed me and kill him" I run in, and loot the fire station, finding my body. I then run to the hospital, and see stationary zombies standing around it. I assume there's someone on the roof. I climbed the ladder to check it out. Peeking over in third person, whaddaya know, it's the hero with the DMR that killed me. I wait for a couple seconds, and he turns around, aiming at something (probably another noob). He's off guard. Great. I climbed up fully and unloaded into his head. He dropped down. When I looted his corpse, well, you can guess so. Everything you can imagine. NVGs, Rangefinder, GPS, Toolbox, (basically full toolbelt), DMR w/ 4 mags, Coyote pack w/ AS50 inside w/ 4 NATO mags. Mountain dew & cooked meat. I studied the body, and found out that his name was "maxi" My friend came up onto the hospital roof as well. We both looted the body, and all of a sudden... You have been kicked by BattlEye: Admin Ban (Hacker) So basically, an admin with endgame (and most likely hacked) gear is running around in Elektro killing freshly spawned noobs, and when someone kills him, he bans them for hacking. All on his own server. If I were you, I would avoid this server.

Fun server, vehicles can be found easier than other servers, but they aren't common by any means. Very good ping for me (chicago). Highly recommended! EDIT: nope. see posts below
