A high spec server, a much faster server with dedicated resources. The server is hosted on dual SSD's in RAID 0, and that has 12 GB of DDR3 RAM being used as RAM Caching for the SSD's, separate to the 24 GB of RAM that is being used for everything else :) MySQL database (hive) auto backups are working for all instances, so we can do roll back's if ever needed. The Silent Warrior Anti-Hack and Admin Tool, is by far the best anti hack program available, and can only be used on server that have full database access, like ours. New weapons will be added to the heli crash sites and special millitary loot tables. This was done already but 1.7.5.1. has changed the heli loot table setup and I need more time to work on it. New vehicles, and modified vehicle spawn locations, including spawn chances and custom maximum values for each vehicle. Option to use standard 1.7.5.1. heli crash cycles where they spawn randomly over time (can increase the interval now its on the dedi), or, have the option to use the 1.7.4.4. heli crash setup where they spawn immediately on server restarts. I'm undecided which to use, for the moment I'll keep it standard but will experiment with the 'frequency' and 'variance' coding until i get a good balance to suit our 3 hr restarts. Having our server run on a dedicated box, gives full control, over everything :) All that is required to change things, is the knowledge on how to do it :) Will be hosting the following; 100 slot - Chernarus, with WhiteList, with TSW-AH (online now) - 188.165.222.39:2302 40 slot - Chernarus, no WL, but will run TSW-AH (online now) - 188.165.222.39:2312 100 slot - Utes PvP, high value PvP loadout (online now) - 188.165.222.39:2322 50 slot - Namalsk, Crisis Stalker Mod, (for a friend) (online now) - 188.165.222.39:2352 When Standalone is released, I'll look to host a 150 slot Chernarus Plus server, hopefuly on the main DayZ hive as DayZ 'should' be hacker free then :P -
Now that sounds intriguing, I might have to take a look. Do you have any custom stuff like buildings/vehicles/loot lists, or is it vanilla all the way? Do you have sidechat? ( if not, I'm sold).

New guns and stuff like l85, holo's with GL's, KSKV sniper and I forget the rest maybe even more stuff I know panda mention a new super market near kemenka and oh yeah new vehicles like new pickup and a limo car pretty much a GAZ :D -
That's true, well, to be honest, the only thing that has been modified ( that im aware of) are the custom buildings. that's basically it. there are no custom guns, skins, weapons, clothing, vehicles, mods. etc.

Namalsk 1.7.4.4 hardcore: Filter IOGC in DayZ Commander or use 188.138.122.37:2303 No 3rd person. (Switch off headbob ffs) :) No crosshairs. No tags. No death messages. EVR and Stalkers are active. Standard loadout/vehicles with a few tweaks (Railgun is out). Dedicated hardware with robust anti-cheat protection: BEC and Ant-HAx. Active Admins. Live stats that show your humanity: http://iogc.co.uk/stats/namalsk/ (if you die your stats get wiped). Any issues like lost gear, suspected scripters etc, then posting on our forums you will get a quick response. There are extremely few servers who opt for this mode - only the toughest or most deranged survive. We are currently getting 10-20 players consistently in the evenings UK time, which is just about right for this map. Our connection is solid and we often have players from North America, Western and Eastern Europe. . We've been hosting games for 6 years now, with a focus on military sims (not exclusively - we play anything good) with Arma being at the forefront. Hi Everyone! I've been playing a lot lately on Dayz Chernarus US 1462 it is one of two DIS Gaming servers. The other being a recently opened Tavania server. I just wanted to send this out as an invite to new players looking for their first stable server experience. If you've been server hopping come by and think about sticking around for a while. There are great admins and hacking is minimal. When the server has been hacked in the past they've done everything they can to make things right. It restarts four times a day at 6am 12pm 6pm and 12am. There are 200 vehicles and plenty of nice random loot sites, but it doesn't feel like admins run amok, in other words the map is pretty much in it's original state except for a few more vehicles and random loot sites. The server resets are spaced in a way that you will be able to find crashed heli sites that haven't been looted. I hope all of that makes sense. It is filled with mostly friendly players and at least one stable clan. I feel like it is mostly lone wolf players right now. I am one myself. But lately, I've found the need to reach out to other friendly players. I have a very well established, well hidden base and could definitely bring at least one,possibly two, other players into my fold. I'm looking to participate in a little team building. So come and play on the server! It's really well maintained and oriented towards grown up players. If you want to join up with me specifically, I'm willing to show you the ropes but I would prefer if you read some tutorials on your own or at least complete some of the ARMA II practice missions to get ready. I would prefer you be over thirty years old and enjoy teamwork. Preferably you'll play at least an hour in the evening and a good bit on the weekends. It would be great if you were patient and not only understood how to farm loot, but enjoyed it as well. I would really like to find another solid player or two to team up with on this server. I have a lot of collateral and could use some help protecting it. Anyway, send me a message or respond if you're interested. Sorry this is really two topics. Basically US 1462 is awesome! Well with the recent patch, a server that me and my friends played on went down, and we have yet to hear any news on when its coming back online, so it's time for a new home.... Here is what we are looking for: - Me and my group (four of us total) are looking for a well established community with a reputable admin team that is NOT known for admin abuse. - We really enjoy maps with custom buildings and bases added on them with plenty of vehicles, vanilla maps are just not enjoyable for us anymore. Also, we are not really into the whole Rmod thing. (well me and my one friend are, but the other two are not, friggin crybabies lol) - Active admins with a whitelist! (we dont need TS, we have our own server) - Perhaps events to change things up from time-to-time? Think church in cherno or whatever. - We enjoy a well balanced community of bandits and survivors. Our play style? Gear up, blast zombies, and make noise in cities to encourage other players to come lol. We usually handle encounters with survivors by overpowering them at gun point and not firing unless fired upon. Heros, always friendly towards, but shoot, and well.... Bandits are always kill-on-sight for us no matter what, unarmed bambi bandit who screams "No Don't!" is the best to blast. We don't hate bandits, we just love shooting them lol. We are friendly in chat, help admins enforce rules, try not to be bothersome for staff by asking questions constantly like, "Where are all the cars....?" Good bunch of guys here that are fun to play with, please help us find a home! Thanks!

This is a list of just a couple of implements that would really add something different to the game, and that fit well with the type of game DayZ is supposed to be!! Check them out!! 1. ZOMBIES: Revised zombie system. FFS I know so many people have already practically demanded it so it really is a must. I would like to see random roaming herds, again nothing new to the suggestions page. It would be cool too if zombies were not the Olympic sprinters that they are in the current mod. They should instead be slow during the day and only dangerous in large groups....but at night however they can be somewhat formidable even in small packs as they get riled up in darkness and are more alert, much faster, more agile, roam around at a quicker pace even when they haven't detected you, and are all around more dangerous...now imagine at night with a LARGE HERD! You better watch each others backs and run like hell cause you WONT be able to kill them all. It would give the game more of a feel like Minecraft where you do most of the scavenging during the day in preparation for the brutal, scary nights, plus people wouldn't be the only dangerous thing in the game anymore. :P 2. WEAPONS: I believe that a weapon attachment system has already been confirmed (correct me if I'm wrong) so that's awesome :D !!! I would however like to see more emphasis on civilian weapons (lots of pump and semi-auto shotguns as well as many hunting rifle models and handguns). 3. MAP: More space could never hurt. It really has an awesome feel to the game when you can roam around for a long time and never encounter another player yet you know they are out there and you better stay alert just in case. A larger map would allow even more of this and more places to explore plus it would really contribute to the epicness suggested in #4. 4. BUILDING: A really cool idea (and somewhat necessary for a game like DayZ in my opinion) is to really beef up the base building aspect of the game. Currently there is about one option when it comes to building bases...tents, sandbags and barbed wire :| . Well I suggest they add something where you can get a hold of building schematics that allow you to construct various shacks, buildings and defenses to make a more enduring base, rather than just a bunch of tents (that all look the same nonetheless). The schematics tell you what materials and tools are needed as well as how many of each kind. Of course these different construction materials would need to be implemented in the loot spawning system. These would be things like sheet metal, sheet rock, wooden planks, etc. Once you have gathered all the said materials/tools you can stand in the spot you want the construction to be at and set its build direction and vwaaalaa! You now have a better base than a few lousy tents around a campfire. Now please realize that I'm NOT suggesting to be able to build the Taj-Mahal. Possible constructions are simple and could/should be few in number. Some examples of possible schematics and what the constructions would look like are below! This schematic could be called "small metal shack", the most basic metal shack schematic, on the low end of constructions, made mostly from metal siding with some wooden plank supports http://www.trainweb....2_tin_shack.jpg On the higher end of the spectrum you could have this, the "stilted log cabin", a much safer alternative to the small metal shack. There would be a ladder for access to keep out the zombies. Made from wooden logs and planks http://cdn.c.photosh...Stilt-Shack.jpg Furthermore there would need to be certain defenses you could build like wooden fences, metal & wooden gates to enclose an area, large wooden spike sets, etc. Also there should be more trap options! As well as little things you can build for your bases that can hold items, like cabinets, chests and such so that you don't have to keep excess loot in vehicles. 5. PURPOSEFUL KNOCK-OUT: My fifth and final suggestion is one that is mostly for fun, and would be simpler to implement than #4. I want more ways to intentionally knock people out in the game. There are several reasons why someone might want to be able to knock people out on purpose. One is that sometimes someone may feel it is necessary to deal with a threat (the player they knock out) in way that doesn't kill him so that they don't turn in to a bandit. They could feel like the person is getting a little too close for comfort so they quietly shoot them with a tranquilizer dart to keep from killing them. They also may want to take the bandit path and knock people out just to rob them of their stuff without actually killing the person. This type of unconsciousness is different than the one already in the game because a player will not bleed out and die from it. They will wake up eventually (just a minute or two, nothing too long). The ways to knock someone unconscious are with a blow to the head with a blunt object, certain traps, a blowgun with tranquilizing darts (which could also make use of poison darts as well!!!), or a rare tranquilizer gun that spawns like other weapons but is non-lethal. Again this could introduce the possibility of the gun having different types of ammo, one of which could be toxic darts which are obviously would cause a slow, painful death in most cases (without anti-venom at least, which they would have to add as well). Well that about does it. Sorry for the lengthy spiel :) This game just has TOO MUCH POTENTIAL!!! Haha let me know what you think in the comments!

Long story short, me and 3 friends were playing this Chernarus server for a number of hours. We had acquired a UAZ and earlier had killed 2 admins for their top tier gear (both had AS50's with 4 mags, likely spawned in) but that wasn't what earned us the ban. We were driving around in the woods a round NEAF with the intent of looking for hidden vehicles or tents. after about 20 minutes of snooping about, we find a small grouping of tents that have some random items in them, nothing of high value. Then all of a sudden all four of us were banned - admin ban - maphacks. apparently we had found the admins' camp, but we never saw a player. So how did they know we were there? Abuse of powers most likely, as well as being a BADMIN.

I'm am trying (no success) to get a server up on dayz.st as we speak. So far it wont let me log back in with the password I entered so I'm a little frustrated. I'm a computer moron so if anyone wants to shoot me a line and help the old lady try to figure out how to make this thing work - feel free to take your pity out of me. If I can throw in some guns and vehicles I'd gladly do it. -
Replace everything with empty tin cans. If they have vehicles, fill those up with empty tin cans and shoot the tires, while taking the best one with you.

Now for more info the server has custom base building and full moon nights as i prefer a bit of playing at night :) also we have our own forum at www.Teamrenegades.com and our own public Teamspeak server with details at the forum. I dont like giving stuff out but I will travel to the person if they need help Bloodbags...etc At the moment not alot of people on the server but everyone that does return seems to be friendly too a degree... unless your stealing stuff :) Still changing around spawns from day to day but generally there are over 150 vehicles up for grabs as i think this is a decent number for the server without going overboard. If anyone wants some more info just ask. Looking forward to meeting everyone in game.

I've got a server with them.... and for $100 a month it's a rip off.... no server control, if your question seems like work for the support staff they just say "I can't help, you'll have to speak to dayz dev team." Heaps of players complaining about no vehicles.... the one thing I do know about multiplay. ... they won't be getting anymore money from me -

Topic has been updated with a very simple list of changes and features. There are almost a hundred fixes and added features in DayZ Redux. Here are a few of the most popular ones: Combat loggers (ALT+F4) are instantly killed and leave a corpse behind. Rare Chloroform spawns have been added. You can use it just like a blood bag, and it will knock your victim unconscious for 3.5 minutes. Vehicle inspection has been added, which pops up an interface with any and all damaged parts when you select "inspect" on your vehicle. Any vehicle can be flipped. Despite it being unrealistic, the feature was implemented as a solution to DayZ buggy vehicle moments. Zombies can hear fired weapons 15% further. Crates can be built, using nails and wood. Smaller and more easily-concealed than tents, but with reduced storage space. Tents and crates can be set on fire using a box of matches. This destroys their content and deletes them from the database. New environments, that make exploring certain otherwise boring areas worthwhile. Hardcore spawns. No backpacks, no mercy. Helicopter crashes spawn at random times during the "life" of a server. New crash sites. Over five different kinds to explore, with varying degrees of fire and smoke. Have fun finding them. All snipers removed except for the CZ550 and the M24. Both are rare, and ammo only spawns with the weapon. Higher zombie density. Horde, anyone? New vehicles, including the HMMWV and Vodnik. Enforced play area. No more off-map camping Personal transfusion kits can be created inside of a hospital, using a regular blood bag. 30% chance of draining blood and losing consciousness. -

Question about vehicle fuel capacity [Private Hive server]

I've noticed that I'm able to fill certain vehicles with much more fuel than they're supposed to carry on two hive servers I play on. Does the owner have the ability to change the amount of fuel a vehicle can hold? For example, the ATV only holds about 1 1/2 jerry cans, but I'm able to fill it with much more than that. I know this seems like a silly question to ask, but I'm curious. -

A new server, about four weeks old has stood up and is looking for more members who are mature, and avid roleplayers to enhance the REAL DayZ experience and provide some extra diversity to the current player base. About us: Many of the current server members are ex-military from seperate countries which include: US, UK, and Poland. The other players are all mature players, who have chosen to endeavor on an experience that is truly unlike any DayZ server that has come before it. Have a vehicle you're not happy with? Kick it up a notch in your roleplaying, earn favor points, and trade them in for unique vehicles just for you or your entire team. Favor points, that are earned by playing your specific team role, or roleplaying however you wish your character to be. These can be spent on anything from weapons, vehicles, decorations, etc. The server is GMT -2, with a restart every six hours. Administrators constantly oversee the server, checking logs, and ensuring that everyone is playing within the rules that have been set in order to establish a server of unique possibilities and enjoyment.
